Great vegan and gluten free sweets - Edit
A nice cozy store easily visitable when strolling the Otaru Canal.
Read moreIt offers a lot of great, beautiful looking options which are vegan and gluten free.
It was my first ever short cake and everything I bought was great.
To note: Not all options are vegan, but a lot of them are.

Monday to Friday Onigiri Shop - Edit
I checked this place on Google maps, which shows different opening times and risked going on a Friday morning. However other Saturdays they only serve Onigiri (rice balls) and they have many vegan options, but it's not all vegan.

A Lovely Woman Runs This Vegan Sweets Shop - Edit
I had wanted to visit this shop since I found out about it several months ago. Unfortunately, I didn't consider their closed-days when I planned my trip to Otaru, and I realized too late that they wouldn't be open while I was staying in the area. But, not wanting to give up so easily, I messaged the woman who runs the shop and asked if it would be possible to buy anything on the day I was visiting despite the shop being closed. To my surprise, she accepted my request and we set up a time for me to visit the shop. Due to it being a closed-day, the options were limited, but there were several kinds of cookies and cakes in the freezer that I was able to purchase and take back to my hotel. She was so kind and she even gave me some delicious fresh cherries as a gift. Everything was delicious and next time I will definitely plan my trip so that I can visit the shop when it is open!

Amazing desserts and amazing hospital - Edit
A very friendly and welcoming greeting by the owner. Great place nice and comfortable with great vibes. The desserts tasted amazing, some of the best I’ve had.
