Ryan's doing an amazing job in saving dogs lives here at Pai. He rescued one dog that we found in the streets of Pai, came right away within 5 mins, took care of him daily at the dog's natural place.
Read moreWe found out he has more than 40 dogs in his shelter - all rescued, with all sorts of injuries. He's generating everything himself and genuinely saves lives daily!
I highly recommend you to donate and volunteer there (if you're physically able to).

Heart-warming & heart-led - Edit
Ryan is incredible and despite drowning in responsibilities with little help, he gives the rescues the best life he can. They just moved to a new property and is trying to make bigger spaces for the animals but is making do for now! The animals are truly happy here and even the dogs around town know Ryan as the kind soul that helps them and visits them as much as he can. Such an incredible experience and I hope everyone goes!

Maybe not running anymore? - Edit
I was really excited to see this place but when we got here and walked up the driveway and there were dogs in cages and a horse trapped in a tiny space. It was really sad and totally not what I expected. 😞 I woke up super excited and happy for this experience and ended up being really bummed out and had my morning kinda ruined by this. The fact that they had the Vegan symbol out the front really angered me.

Makes Pai an even better place - Edit
Ryan is doing amazing work here! It is a place to help animals that are wounded or in need, either from the street or by people who for whatever reason cannot take care of the animal.
Read moreThe animals have such a lovely home here, full of love and dedication of ryan as well as the helpers.
Currently there are about 40 dogs, 10 pigs, 2 horses and some chickens.
The place is happily open for visitors daily from monday to saturday, from 9 am to 12 noon.

Pete's Mission has established itself as fully vegan, in spite of additional financial and social costs, and takes a compassionate and reason-based approach to helping dogs in need. It provides volunteering opportunies and is a valuable bridge to the local community.
