Disappointing Experience at PETER PANE Burgergrill & Bar in Travemünde - Edit
We had made a reservation well in advance for a group of 10 people. However, upon our arrival, it became immediately clear that the seating arrangements were inadequate. The benches provided only accommodated 9 people, despite the confirmed reservation. After a prolonged and visibly chaotic effort, the staff finally added an extra bench perpendicularly to the table, which allowed us all to be seated—albeit uncomfortably.
Read moreUnfortunately, the issues didn’t end there. Taking our orders proved to be a real challenge. The waiter seemed overwhelmed and struggled significantly to handle the order process for our group.
While the food itself was generally tasty, one incident overshadowed everything else: a guest in our party ordered a burger with a vegan chicken patty, but was served a burger with real chicken instead. Because modern vegan alternatives are so close in taste and texture to the original, this serious error went unnoticed until the burger was almost entirely eaten. This kind of mistake is absolutely unacceptable. A restaurant must have quality control measures in place to prevent such incidents, especially when dietary preferences or ethical choices are involved.
Additionally, one burger in our order was served completely cold, further highlighting the lack of professionalism in the kitchen.
Although the restaurant did not charge us for the incorrect burger, this gesture is far from enough to make up for what happened. We are shocked and deeply disappointed. Mistakes like this are not only inexcusable—they're dangerous and show a blatant disregard for customer care and responsibility.
We will never visit a PETER PANE Burgergrill & Bar again and strongly advise others to steer clear if they wish to avoid a similarly distressing experience.

Sie haben eine richtig große Auswahl an veganen Burgern. Ich hatte den Hüttenzauber und der war mega lecker. Richtig nice sind auch die Eistees. Die Bedienung is super nett und schnell und die Einrichtung ist sehr schön.

I'm not a fan of all these restaurant chains out there, but in an area with limited options Peter Pane is kind of a safe space for vegans. Various vegan burger options, plus salads, sides and milk alternatives. Staff was friendly and helpful, the interior is modern and cozy.

Veganuary Specials - Edit
Good burgers & sauces, like we already knew from other Peter Panes. In general quiet pricy for burgers, even though the current special menu "Gönn Dir" is an affordable offer (15€ for a the Held burger, fries and a drink). We also tried the vegan chilly cheese balls that are available during the veganuary special and liked them a lot. The place has a nice interior and very friendly staff. #Veganuary
