Disappointing overall - Edit
We ordered from this restaurant and were quite disappointed.
Read moreWe had the Kohresheta Bamyeh (potatoes and okra pods with tomato and saffron sauce), which were ok, but still a far cry from what Persian food can be. The Ghormeh Sabzi (Black beans with herb sauce) tasted ok, too, but it was rather bitter, and moreover, it was not filling at all. The vegan version here is just beans and the meat left out, so to be filling, more beans should have been added. The Seitenparvardeh (olives and walnuts with pomegranate and herbs) was actually good, as were the stuffed vine leaves. The falafel, however, was so hard and dry that I couldn‘t even stick my fork into it. It was totally inedible. We had ordered two portions of falafel to fill us up, and had to throw them away.
The vegan options are not marked on the menu, and as said above, nothing is substituted to make them more substantial.
