Although they have vegan options, do clarify that you would like the cheese to be removed. I wouldn't say the food is bland, but some people might not enjoy it if they expect something out of the ordinary.

My husband and I both loved the food here! We ordered the Penne Arrabiata and the vegetable Gnocci. When my husband ordered the Penne without Parmesan the waiter came back after taking our order and asked if we wanted to have it completely without dairy products or just without the parmesan as the Penne are usually made with butter. So look out here, but great thinking by the staff member to ask us about it. Food was served very quickly and we really enjoyed the spice in both dishes. Would definitely come here again!

Reservation is not possible at the moment, so you have to be lucky to get a free table at popular dinner times at first try . We got a table at the second attempt after we went for a short walk through the city. Both was totally worth it! The spicy gnocchi were a large portion, which you don't always get with pasta. There was a seasonal special pizza with chanterelles that was very tasty without gorgonzola and olives instead. the bruschetta were flavorful and delicious. we ordered a mixed salad and, on request, got vinegar and olive oil to season ourself. overall a very nice relaxed experience.

They have three vegan main courses (not labeled). We ordered the gnocchi and the penne based on the previous reviewer here. Both options were excellent and spicy. We also ordered bruschetta. Happy that we had these options as this town is limited with vegan options.

It's a struggle to find vegan foods in this part of Germany. So it's great to find a restaurant that can cater to a vegan diet. Let the owner (short guy, grey hair, glasses and mustache) know that you are vegan. He will know what is or can be made vegan. I had bruschetta and pasta - both really good. Make sure to specify what you don't eat. Especially no cheese. Usually permesan comes on the side.
