Great staff, challenging management

Ex-employee. Food is top notch, the kitchen knows what they’re doing. Most of the staff is amazing—shout-out to Alejandra, Tay, and the kitchen/busser staff.
From my experience, management felt very micromanaging and created what I experienced as a stressful and sometimes toxic work environment. It often felt like there was a disconnect between what customers see and what happens behind the scenes.
I was promoted to a server/bartender on day one, but shortly after becoming able to claim my own tips, I was demoted. The situation left me feeling that there may have been unfair treatment, and at times I felt I was spoken to more harshly.
Overall, the atmosphere for guests is good and the food is great—please tip your bartenders and servers well, as they work hard. However, based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend working here.

Great food!

I was desperately looking for some vegan Mexican food around here. Finally stumbled across this place and am so happy. They also have zero proof tequila which sold me as a sober person who still loves a marg- table side quac was also insanely good.
