Delicious

An amazing and cozy cafe. It was there just after 18:00 not much time till closing hours so I was there on my own. I first ordered two cookies with a caffe mocka with soy milk 😋 All very delicious. If you've been complaining that everything is very sweet in Korea this is a nice switch up as the cookies had a very subtle sweetness to them.

Then before leaving I got a slice sweet corn "cheese" cake which I very much enjoyed when I got back to my airbnb.

(Side note: I asked the lady working where to go to see the sunset and she warned me that it would be too cloudy but as it's raining season I don't expect to have any clear days while I'm here so I would say the cloudy sunset was still a success. Thank you for the recommendation 😊)

BEST vegan Cake and Lattes

This cafe is so YUMMY! I was in cake heaven and consistently made room for dessert here for a few days in a row. Most of the cakes are Gluten-free and some of the cookie and scone options are as well. There were a few non-GF cookies and tarts, but overall the options allow for both GF, Vegan and Non-GF vegans to eat well here. The cakes were moist and had a great consistency; spongey enough to fork and take a bite, without the cake falling apart. The pecan tart, s'mores-like cookie (double chocolate marshmallow), and blueberry cheesecake were all 10/10 for me. I also had a matcha chocolate cake, Purple Sweet potato frosted pumpkin cake, and the chestnut cake. I wish I could visit this cafe every month, or at least every year on my Birthday LOL. The cakes are very filling, so if you already ate, try to come on an empty stomach so that you can fully enjoy your full slice along with a drink, unless you are sharing with others.

For latte options, I love that they have so many non-caffeinated options with both hot and iced versions. Of course they still have matcha and coffee for caffeine lovers. I ordered the black sesame latte and mugwort latte (they cutely reminded me to mix it very, very well so I could get all of the flavor and nothing would remain settled at the bottom of the cup).

I ate inside on Day #1 and was vibing to some background music (small inside, but enough for about 3 small groups to sit), outside on Day #2 (nice to get fresh air in the back patio under the umbrellas), and did takeout on Day#3.

The owner and workers were super nice. They gave me as much time as I needed to order as I checked out all of the options. The owner spoke really good English and also kindly let me try my best at ordering in as much Korean as I have learned so far. For visitors, the menu is in both Korean and English so it is easy to order.

Parking is out front/ street parking. This is located in a smaller neighborhood so driving here or taking a bus from the coast near Aewol or Jeju-si would be necessary, but is 110% worth it.

too good

From the drinks to the cakes & scone everything tasted amazing and the seating areas (both inside and outside) were super cute. Matcha vanilla cake had a strong matcha taste and was my favorite. Pumpkin pound cake was delicious as well and the cream on top paired well with the pound cake. Nut tart was good - similar to a pecan pie? Matcha latte was not as sweet as ones I've had at other cafes which I personally preferred

Beautiful food!

Some of the most beautiful desserts I’ve seen! They were a treat for the eyes, but didn’t quite taste as delicious as they looked. Grateful for vegan and gluten free options, just would have loved stronger flavors, and slightly better bakes.

Nice Bakery!

It's off the road where you find this yummy bakery.
I love the ambience although it was night time, I believe it would be nice to sit out during the day at the back of the cafe.
Cakes and pastry is definitely great. Coffee is a little weak IMO.

Amazing cakes

So many interesting flavoured cake and all so beautiful as well. We had the early grey grapefruit cake which had fresh pieces grapefruit in it. The cream was also light and not heavy at all. We also had the pumpkin and red bean cake alongside with coffee and tea that came in giant mugs :)))

The cafe is also really cute so please visit if you’re in the area!

nut tart is a must!

I met my friend here and we got almost one of everything. The cheesecake had a really unique taste (like goats cheese? but not in a bad way) and the texture was so nice. The best thing was by far the nut tart and I could have eaten 2 or 3 by myself.. that good. The butter cookies were also really good! The green tea cake wasn’t as strong as I would have liked so I probably would try a different one next time. Everything paired perfectly with an americano, and we also tried two other drinks which were great.

The owners were so kind and they were really concerned if we liked everything or not. They seem to be very passionate about their cakes! The space is very lovely and there’s a backyard with really nice spots to sit as well. I loved it!

Pros: amazing baked goods

Loved it

If you are taking a bus to get there, there is a bus stop literally in front .
The cafe is so pretty, the cake was really good (not as sweet as cakes in Korea are which I liked) and they play nice music as well.
You can sit inside or outside in the backyard.
I paid 12,500 for a cake and an americano

Pros: Tasty, Not very pricey

Cons: A bit in the middle of nowhere

Lovely vegan cafe

I walked almost an hour from Gwakji beach to get to this place and it was worth it! They sell various interesting flavour cakes every day as well as vegan drinks. I had a sweet pumpkin cake with an oatly latte and they were both delicious. The view from the outdoor seating area is beautiful too.

Only con is it’s fine if you are driving or if you’re able to walk there, but if you’re relying on public transport it may be a bit awkward/take a while to reach
