Small vegetarian restaurant focused on serving dishes that incorporate local Penghu ingredients: prickly pear cactus, seaweed, laver, loofah and others. Savory pancakes, stir-fried and soup noodles, guabao, fried rice, fengru tea pudding, juices, and teas. Look for the green parts of the menu labeled 全素 for vegan items. Half of the savory pancakes have an ovo option (蛋素), and the cactus pudding contains dairy (奶素). Open Mon-Tue 3:30pm-8:00pm, Thu-Sun 3:30pm-8:00pm. Closed Wed.

If you enjoy vegan dishes made with local specialty ingredients, this is your place. Google Maps and their signage does say they open at 3pm, but even the owner says showing up at 3:30pm is safer since he often runs a little late. But that didn’t bother me since that gave me ample time to study the extensive menu. I got to have the seven-colored oyster pancake (七彩ㄛㄚ煎), seaweed guabao (海菜刈包), prickly pear cactus juice (仙人掌汁), and freshly peeled prickly pear fruit (現吃仙人掌). The next day, I returned to try the stir-fried Penghu loofah (炒澎湖菜瓜). I particularly loved the colorful oyster pancake and guabao. The owner said that they only use handmade buns, which makes them chewier. Yum! I highly recommend including this humble restaurant on your Penghu itinerary.
