Todo muy rico - Edit
Delicious food that reminded me of being in Mexico. My favorite was the pambazo asada sandwich. So good! The molletes, elote street corn style and rice and beans were also excellent. The tacos were good but were the least impressive for me. They were a bit heavy/oily. Horchata was amazing too!

Great Flavor - Edit
The portion sizes are great (not too large, not small by any means). My mom found her mushroom taco to be a little spicier than expected, but overall we all truly enjoyed our meal!

Very heavy - Edit
The food is nothing to write home about but heavily fried. It had a lot of salt and oil. Maybe this is just standard American fare - was just too heavy to me

Love the vibe of the place, lots of great options and reasonable pricing.
Read moreWe ordered cauliflower al pastor tacos, asada taco dinner, chips and salsa, and quesabirria. All were very good with great flavors and lots of filling! The salsa had a nice little kick but we anticipated more of a kick than what we got. Either way, it was still a great salsa. The birria was good but didn’t have the punch I was expecting.
Overall it was a delicious meal and very filling. I’d definitely recommend Penelope’s and would love to return!
- started eating before we could get a picture of all the food!

Pretty much the best! - Edit
To be is the best vegan Mexicans. Their oat meat it’s amazing. Everything we had was very tarty. We ate the corn with takis, quesadilla, chimichanga and a variety of tacos! Don’t skip it!

Amazing Mexican Food - Edit
This was my second visit to Penelope’s and the first at this location. We had the torta, quesabirria tacos and some drinks. Everything was excellent. The torta is huge and the bread it comes in is so fluffy and light and decadent. The quesabirria tacos were excellent as well, very flavorful and filling. The ambience is the location is nice with colorful murals inside and livery music. There’s few places that offer vegan food like this and wherever you are vegan or not, this place is a must visit while in the area.
