18th century traditional stone built Welsh farmhouse set in 12 acres of countryside that's home of Idlewild Animal Sanctuary. Ask guests to consume only plant-based products while onsite to fit the ethos of the sanctuary. Stay includes a tour of the sanctuary - get to meet the animals and take part in feeding and grooming if you wish. Reported closed April 2025.

Incredible vegan cottage in an animal sanctuary

This is a 3 double bed cottage located inside an amazing animal sanctuary in North Wales. The cottage itself is really lovely with plenty of space, and is dog friendly. A nice touch is the welcome goodies on arrival. The cottage is labelled as vegan so, assuming everyone who visits keeps to the rules, you can eat in comfort here.

The animal sanctuary itself is beautiful and the staff are out of this world going above and beyond for the animals (and the guests too).

There's plenty to do in the local area too (snowdon, running up crazy mountain roads, beaches, and lovely walks).

100% recommend.
