Excellent Wine Tasting Experience

We'd been wanting to go to Pelter for a wine tasting for over a year now! I cannot recommend it enough! A wide variety of wines from both of their lines - Pelter and Matar by Pelter; spirits by Pelter (house-made Arak!); fresh warm bread; vegan snacks; super friendly staff; relaxed atmosphere = perfect! For food, there is typically a vegan cheese platter with warm bread available. We got there quite late, so they were out of the cheese platter, but we were able to select various spreads (olive spread, tomato spread) and other snacks from their store and have these with bread. The women helping us were really lovely and knew a lot about the various wines and spirits. The location is quiet and relaxed - a true countryside winery feel. Plenty of outdoor seating. Good music. There is also a food truck that has vegan snacks, but we didn't investigate. In all, a perfect wine tasting experience, 10/10 for taste, service, cleanliness, high quality, snack options, and location! Perfectly located if you've been hiking in the Golan and just a few minutes drive from the lookout at Mount Bental.

Pros: delicious, high-quality wines, vegan snacks, friendly and helpful staff
