Wanted to like this place

We were so hopeful when we saw this place in Hopkins offering vegan options. We were really let down that the curry was only basic vegetables, not a potato in sight. We were hungry shortly after eating and for the money spent it was a let down. Not as richly flavored as local dishes and needed some seasoning. The veggie sandwich was raw veggies on partially burnt bread, the garden salad was hard to eat because the veggies were cut long like they were in the curry, you had to take a fork and knife to it for ten minutes before it was ready to eat. Could be a good spot with some changes and quality control.

Pros: On the beach , Vegan offerings

Cons: Price, Flavor, Lack of sustenance

Hidden Gem in Hopkins

Since the restaurant was not listed on happy cow, I went in and assumed not much. I was so astonished when he then handed me two menus one "normal" one and one vegan one. When I asked him about the feta in the Mediterranean salad he said they make it themselves!!! So of course I had to order this salad and it was very fresh and the cheese tasted amazing, to be honest and I asked two times if it was really vegan because it tasted so cheesy. The dressing we got seperate in a bottle was mixed by the restaurant out of oil + vinegar.
The owner also told me that almost all dished can be veganised with leaving out the meat and adding more vegetables.
We also had the Risotto, which was of course cheese and butter free. So it was not as creamy as a non vegan risotto but very tasty and with a jucy tomato based sauce and fresh veggies. I had the chance to talk to the owner and he said they try to make everything themselves. I am so happy I found this place and I would definitely recommend it and come again.

Pros: Make their own vegan feta, Direct ocean view, Vegan menu
