Can’t complain.

Food is okay but the staff were very accommodating to be able to make me something that was gluten free AND vegan. Had a quinoa risotto😄

Good, but not great

It is a small and cozy place. Friendly staff. I wanted to like it so badly, but i found the food quite tasteless (I had the vegetable and rice wok). Two other dishes could be made vegan if you removed cheese or/and eggs.
My partner had the lasagne (removing the cheese), and it wasn't bad but I didn't find it great either. Such a shame!

Tasty and homey

If you’re stopping in Purmamarca, this is the only vegan option in town other than a salad at some other spot. However, it’s actually a great option and I would undoubtedly return if I were in town again.
This small restaurant offers pizzas and vegetarian food on their daily-changing menu. The pizzas have all sorts of veggie toppings and they can be ordered without cheese.
I opted for their burger combo which was a vegan lentil burger and a small pitcher of limeade for a price. Before your meal, you get a small complimentary starter of halved Andean potatoes and some seasoned lentil thing that is very tasty. I ordered the zapallo or local zucchini squash soup (which is vegan and they just top it with cheese to make it vegetarian) and it was absolutely delicious. Warm, creamy, and hearty, it was just what I needed after a long day of driving around the area. Next, the burger was actually two lentil patties on a plate accompanied by a small salad and some more of those Andean potatoes. The burgers were very tasty and homey. You could tell the food had been prepared from scratch that morning. It felt like eating at someone’s home rather than a restaurant, and I must admit I quite liked that.
The girls who served me—I’m guessing they’re the owners—were super nice and super happy to explain all their vegan friendly options to me. They also constantly checked what I thought of the food or if Ali needed anything else. Great service. However, this place is cash only, so remember to bring some money. Also, they’re very strict about their hours. I arrived about 10mins before they closed for lunch and they served me with no issue. A couple that walked in five minutes after they closed for lunch—as I sat halfway through my meal—was told the kitchen was closed until dinnertime.
Overall, a cozy little spot in the tiny town of Purmamarca that is by far the most veggie friendly option in the area. Food is tasty and filling—though nothing mind-blowing flavor wise. Definitely recommend.

Pros: Homey food, Cozy, Friendly staff

Cons: Strict hours
