Even if you have to go out of your way, do not miss this lovely restaurant. After trying to find vegan options in some of the local pubs in Ireland, which is so difficult, finding Pearla na Mara was like finding an oasis.
The food was outstanding! Living in NYC we have a lot of vegan restaurant options and I must say this gem could easily stand up.
Owned by a young couple, the wife being vegan and the chef being flexible, the restaurant, although not a vegan establishment showed great flexibility and accommodation. Really delightful.
Pros: very flexible menu, kind and helpful coming up with vegan options, food was delicious
Cons: not strictly a vegan or vegetarian restaurant
