SO FRICKIN' DISAPPOINTED I COULD CRY. OR LAUGH. - Edit

I'm in mourning about my experience here.

I dragged my extended family with me from Massachusetts on a pilgrimage to find the vegan pizza I'd been reading about, knowing that their carnivore needs would be met as well. We went on a Wednesday, early lunch, and the place was dead. I went right up to the counter and excitedly asked what kind of vegan cheese they put on the pies and the young lady behind the counter sighed and smiled, "um, we're all out of vegan cheese. . . "

Are you kidding me? You advertise your vegan pizza and you don't stock enough cheese? Oh, and then she informed me that they only had one of the advertised faux meat toppings, as well.

The guy near the ovens said something like, "Yeah, we just haven't had the chance to get up to Manchester to get the cheese yet." Um, let me take your car, man--I can be up there in about 20 minutes. Huge disappointment. No apologies from the establishment.

But it gets worse. After a prolonged discussion with the counter girl [edit by staff] I ordered a pizza with sauce, broccoli, spinach and onions. It arrived at the table 20 minutes later with a heaping amount of CHEESE all over it, which the girl proudly presented to me. I reminded her I asked for a vegan pizza (and my mother-in-law added her two cents) and she said, "ohhhhhh, right" and then took it away. When she finally brought my order (after everyone else at the table had their's) it had no cheese but also no onions. Again, really?

Let's see: the counter girl took forever to ring us up and write down our order, we waited for 45 minutes until all the food came, they ran out of napkins, there was no toilet paper in the bathrooms, they forgot the cheese in my son's cheeseburger sub, the crappy sticky table with the wobbly legs, the horrible selection of drinks in the quarter-filled refrigerator, watching the girl tell other customers when asked about the lunch special that "they hadn't had time to think up one yet."

[edit by staff]

I tell you, I'm in mourning.

Now, here are the good points: the sauce and crust was delicious. The homemade pita bread in my mother-in-law's wrap was fantastic. And my six year-old daughter said it was the best pizza she's had in Massachusetts (okay, New Hampshire).

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE take this review and make some changes. Don't forsake your vegan clientele in this way. We are strong in voice though small in numb

Pros: good sauce

Cons: NO , VEGAN , CHEESE

Best Veg Pizza I've Had So Far! - Edit

Since I've been vegan, the veg options in Nashua have been steadily getting better, however I was still missing a great pizza place. Then Pearl St. Pizza came along. All I have to say is THANK GOD!!! The food is incredible and the staff is well educated on what is and isn't vegan, which is a blessing as most restaurants I go to require an in-depth description. AND they have vegan desserts! As the restaurant is growing to include ice cream the owner mentioned possibly considering including vegan ice cream so if you're in the area mention it!

Long review short, if you're in the area I strongly recommend supporting an outstanding local business dedicated to bridging the gap between vegan restaurants and traditional pizza places.

As a side note, I cannot give Pearl St. Pizza five cows as they do serve meat, however know that they come with the highest recommendation I could give.

Pros: Great Food/Prices, Delivers!!!, Knowledgeable Staff!

Cons: None

so good! - Edit

I went here for the first time today and got a pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! It had a blend of Daiya cheese on it, as well as their homemade fake chicken (and peppers). It rivaled vegan pizza from other cities such as Boston and Providence. I also tried their vegan peanut butter cup, which was heavenly, as well as a whoopie pie, which was good. They also stock vegan ice cream bars.

If you're in NH, COME EAT HERE!

Best Vegan Pizza I've Ever Had!!! - Edit

Their Vegan pizza has to be one of the best out there. A perfect dough with a sauce that has just the right sweetness. Covered in a great blend of two different "cheeses". They also offer Vegan Fried "Chick'n"!! They can do just about anything with it. Highly recommend a visit.

Pros: Quality of ingredients, Friendly, Great portions
