Delicious and great service

Is a lovely place, with delicous food and amazing service! I went asking some specific dishes that I found online, but the restaurant changed and also the menu; but still we had the watermelon and rocket salad (we asked half of it without cheese) A must try!, beans salad, and green beans tempura, my friend tried the cod starter too and was very happy. Highly recommended place!

Pros: Delicious and fresh food

Cons: Not too many vegan/vegetarian main options

Definitely five-star worth option in the area

The place is indeed a pearl in town, well located in the centre and immediately drawing attention with its cosy, trendy but informal decor and style.

Even though it is mainly an oyster and wine bar, I was surprised to find many vegan options - that are marked as vegetarian on the menu - mostly with an Asian twist but with a local touch. We had a light vegetable tempura (with zucchini, fennel, carrot, and I believe spring onion and potato), served with a delicious garlic soy sauce, a root and vegetable yellow curry served with local bread and also tofu bao buns which were hands-down the best I’ve ever had. On top of that there were still few more options: Asian-style salads, tofu satay skewers and vegetable carpaccio. The options that are vegetarian and some of the fish-based ones can be made vegan upon request. Dishes are best shared to enjoy several options during your meal.

Bonus point: we even managed to have dessert which was not possible on our previous evening and was a pleasant surprise (tapioca pearls in coconut milk and rum with crushed nuts on top).

Last but not least, if you go, do try the Surf Brewing beers: it’s a local independent company that supports the cleaning of the ocean with each sale!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Asian dishes with local touch & great personality, Stylish interiors and helpful stuff

Cons: It’s originally an oyster bar
