Bland, long wait. - Edit

Read moreIt took about 25 minutes for the spring roll starter to come out which to me is way too long. The waitress was on her own serving 10 tables across two floors - doing everything from seating, taking orders, making drinks, running food and taking payment (not to mention also organising Grab collections). This is completely unfair and to me a sign of poor management - she spent the whole evening actually jogging between tables in order to try and keep up with everyone and I truly felt for her.
Waited about another 25 mins from starter to mains coming out. My boyfriend’s dish came first, then another five minute wait for mine. The glass noodle stir fry was actually just bad. No flavour at all, and it was a dry dish which wasn’t advertised on the menu, usually would expect at least oil or soy sauce or something to loosen the dish from one big ball. My boyfriend’s dish had the orange chicken, which was really tasty and a highlight. Other components of his plate were actually cold, like fresh out the fridge cold and on his plate he had the same stir fried vegetables as I had in my noodles, also without any kind of sauce or seasoning. We both ate less than half of our dishes due to pure hunger but otherwise probably would’ve left even more.
Not sure of we visited on an off day but I will not revisit, Hoi An has an incredible amount of vegan establishments and this one simply isn’t worth the visit. It also really bothered me that the poor waitress was literally running round desperately trying to do what she could and no doubt was on the receiving end of stick from customers regarding the food and wait time but she was clearly doing everything humanly possible to manage the situation.

An absolute gem in Hoi An — don’t miss it! - Edit
The menu is amazing — so many tasty, healthy options that it’s hard to choose. They have a section with smaller dishes, so you can mix and match and basically build your own meal! Everything is cooked to perfection! The cashew gravy and the mushrooms — both absolutely next level.

Wir sind durch zufall dort gelandet, und es war göttlich. Wir hatten schwarzen Reis mit veganem orangen Hühnchen, veganes Popcornhünchen und Tofubällchen mit Soja-Limettensauce. Es war sehr lecker und die Bedinung war sehr nett. Das tolle war, es gab die ganze Zeit gratis Schwarztee.

I have lived in Hoi An for almost 5 months now and I have tried all the vegan Banh Mi in town. I can conclude that here you will find the best CP value Banh Mi, meaning not only about the cheapest price but also the overall taste, seating, services, portions, ingredients etc.
Read moreAlthough the cheapest vegan Banh Mi in town is 15,000 VND, it is so small that I need to eat two or top up with other food to feel enough. The gourmet vegan Banh Mi here (with normal bread) is just 35,000 VND, but it is much bigger stuffed with their signature tofu balls. The best thing is that you can sit in the AC (or their garden if not too hot), and enjoy the Banh Mi quietly and slowly. You can order vegan drinks too, I love their Oatmilk coffee and juices.
One thing to note, you can choose the tofu balls inside the Banh Mi with sweet and sour sauce or tomato sauce. I tried both, and I felt they were different. The former is more exciting to the taste buds, but you can taste better the tofu with the latter.
By the way, I really appreciate how the staff is highly trained in hospitality. All of them speak excellent English, very friendly and cheering. This is a big plus for returning customers.

I love Peanut for the way they do tofu! You can get it in big meatballs or crispy cubes in either a teriaki sauce or tomato sauce. Both are great! They put these in their banh mi as well or you can have them as a side. The summer salad is so refreshing! I always order the peanut mash as well. High quality and great service. They deliver on Grab too! Not the biggest fan of the desserts.

We had vegan orange chicken, soy and lime tofu balls, red rice, eggplant stew and veggies. It is tapas style which we loved as we got to try small portions of lots of things. We also had a mooncake for dessert.

The staff were welcoming and lovely. One of the men spoke great English. Menu items were clearly labelled as vegan, and there were plenty of options including gluten free. There is also a QR code on the tables which gives you a guide to other vegan options in the area.
