Little southern Asian joint from the Vegan Thai Kitchen people - Edit
A good idea to do a smaller version in another area. I would imagine food is prepped in the big kitchen in their main restaurant and exploiting economies of scale.
Read moreWe dropped in at 7pm but they were closing. The girl said she could do us some take-away grub and we went for it.
We had the red curry & Chinese style spicy noodle soup. Was nice of her to put in the effort.
The helpings were huge & ate the grup in the Air B&B

Lovely noodle buffet!! - Edit
We visited when they had a noodle buffet. There were several different types of noodles, proteins and toppings plus four different broth options, and a generous slice of cake for dessert and an ice tea drink. It was a really fun concept and the food was delicious! It's a really tiny place so we recommend making a reservation.

The little Kitchen offers very good vegan dishes. They use different spices, so it tastes very well and we would come back, when we stay in Helsinki again.

I had a wonderful lunch, I tried everything at the buffet (as everything is vegan). The boat soup was exceptional!
Read moreThe staff was extremely helpful. Beyond the peace slogans, the place is openly queer-friendly. The limited seating is good to feel among like-minded people.
I'm curious to try the buffet with friends who aren't used to this food, to see whether they're comfortable with the self-service bowl composition.
Pros: Very tasty soup, Varied buffet/menu with various protein options, Friendly, passionate staff and clientele
Cons: Bigger groups may prefer the main location

Thai vegan kitchen's adorable little sister - Edit
It's Peace Kitchen also in the sense that it seems to be less busy at least 1 hr before closing time. Most, but not all the meals are the same as in TVK.

Peace kitchen is a beautiful daughter of the famous Thai Vegan Kitchen. These are the places to go in Helsinki, there isn't anything better in these streets!
Read moreNo matter what you choose from the menu, it always tastes like it was made with love and passion. And believe me when I say this, I've been a customer of TVK's from the beginning, I still keep on coming over these same places and never get bored!
Pros: The best food I had in the whole damn country, Friendly and lovely staff, Whatever you eat, you cannot get disappointed!
Cons: I wish there were more of Peace Kitchens, I wish there were more Thai Vegan Kitchens, There's a change you develop an addiction
