Unique architecture with cordwood construction with a unique funky atmosphere. REPORTED CLOSED, JULY 2016. Open Mon-Thu 9:00am-5:00pm, Fri 9:00am-7:00pm, Sat-Sun 9:00am-5:00pm.

Del Norte has the best kombucha? NO way! Yes way. - Edit
When I drive from Pagosa Springs to Denver, I always look forward to my stop in Del Norte at this cafe/store!
The place is just a treat to be IN, as they have decorated it in such an artsy and unique way. They have a small health food store with some good road food options.
Tell KimAnna (the owner) I sent you and you'll get a warm smile, and quite possibly a hug. She's just wonderful, and her homemade kombucha reflects the love and care she exudes. It's amazing stuff, and this coming from a booch snob (me). The deli doesn't have a ton of vegan options, but they always have a few, and the staff is always happy to help you figure out something good to eat!

Pros: wonderful staff & owners, fantabulous kombucha, decorated beautifully & artistically
Cons: limited vegan deli items, too far away from me!, their kombucha haunts my dreams

Great hidden little gem! - Edit
Found this as I was passing thru in a snowstorm. Really unique little place, and shocking to find vegan options where it is! Food is pretty good too!

Vegan Friendly Restaurant and Shop - Edit
This cafe is attached to a health food store and b&b. The cafe is on the backside of the health food store so it can be easily overlooked. I was on vacation in the rural area of Coloardo and had really difficult time finding places to eat that had vegan options. I often stopped at grocery stores and bought fruit and bagged salads.
It was such a relief to find Peace and Art Cafe.
I really enjoyed the veggie burger here. They make it in house and I believe the recipe changes.
The owner was super nice and had great recommendations on places to visit while in southern Colorado.
They also have fresh pressed juices.
