Indian gem in Huaraz - Edit
No quería comer comida india en Perú, pero como los otros restaurantes vegetarianos estaban cerrados (domingo), acabé aquí y no me arrepiento de nada! Tienen muchas opciones vegetarianas y veganas, y menús por 18 soles, que incluyen pan, arroz y bebida. El sabor es auténtico de la India. Servicio amable, local tranquilo, WiFi gratis. Y chai masala riquísimo para completar una muy agradable experiencia.

A good number of vegan curry options which come with rice and definitely aren't too expensive for Indian food. Chapatis are also vegan, and the spice level of the curry was great

18 soles for a curry of your choice, rice, chapati and a drink. The portion was massive and it was the tastiest curry we have had in 8 months of backpacking. Free WiFi too!

There is a lunch menu until 4pm for an unbelievable 18 Soles! It is a generous portion and tastes great.
Comes with Rice 🍚, Naan🫓 & a freshly pressed juice 🥤 Absolute steal.
Plenty of other vegan options on the normal menu which are more expensive (28PEN) but also bigger portions.
Look out also for the starters. Some of them are vegan as well.

Good range of vegan curries - Edit
Peruvian run, but it still tasted pretty authentic to me. Portion sizes were really generous- so I got two meals for the price of one and took one back to my accommodation for lunch.

This restaurant is not where it is located on the map! It is really nice that it has clearly marked vegan and vegetarian options. I love the pakoras and my Baigan Bharta was quite smoky it tasted almost burnt. Very generous sizes with rice and bread included. I definitely didn’t need the pakoras too!

We ordered a couple of starters, curries and breads and it was all delicious. The curries also came with rice. Big portions and very cheap. The waiter was also helpful pointing out which dishes were vegan.

I don’t know why I went there, I wasn’t even hungry. But I did not regret it. I had the Dal Mushroom with some Chapati and it was so super tasty! I absolutely loved it!
