Potential to be 3?

Rude staff, people at the bar were friendly tho. Pizza is just ok, got two pizzas both had to be remade 😭 if it’s less busy maybe it’s better? I’ll try again.

Amazing vegan pizza in cool spot

I had heard great reviews about the vegan pizza options at Pauli Gees and was not disappointed! The had 6 vegan pizzas to choose from and loads of veggie options.
I had the Ricotta Da Vegan - it was delicious! The dough, the sauce, the vegan cheese - all amazing tasting!
Reasonably priced and our waiter was super friendly and helpful with the menu.
The place has a cool laid back atmosphere and I would definitely recommend a visit

Pros: Many Vegan options , Great tasting pizza , Atmosphere

Best vegan pizza I’ve ever had!

I’ve been vegan for 6 years & tried many pizzas. This restaurant has my favourite one so far!! I love the In Ricotta Da Vegan. The dough is perfect, they make their own vegan sausage & cheese, and you get a good amount for your money. They have several other vegan pizzas depending on what you’re in the mood for. I think about this pizza often. Thank you, Paulie Gee’s😄

Best vegan pizza!!

What an AMAZING place to get DETROIT STYLE PIZZA!!! I’ve never had vegan pizza served this style, and it was absolutely amazing. Not only do you get pizza, but all their desserts are vegan. I got the red velvet cake and it was to die for! So excited to come back!!!😄

Love restaurants that have full vegan sections. Takes the work out of modifying.

The pizza was delicious and I loved the vibe. The salads you can modify by removing the cheese and or option out of dressing.

Pros: Vegan section

Good Pizza, Questionable Prices

Paulie Gee's has several vegan options in a separate menu section, which is pretty nice; I really enjoy the Rabbit Pie, has lots of good ingredients. Main downside is that you're paying about $20 for a pizza that won't serve multiple people/give you leftovers, it's pretty small and is a fairly thin crust.

Pros: Multiple Options, Good Ingredients

Cons: Pricey for what you get

Shockingly good

I got the vegan Regina pizza, it was AMAZING and very fair price for a whole vegan pizza! Your not able to customize at all but I think because of that the pizza cooks very fast. Absolutely will be back to try some of the other vegan options.

Pros: Great price , Quick service, Delicious food

Cons: Can’t customize pizza

Great vegan pizza

You get a lot of options for vegan pizza here. Plus they usually have Pie Pie my Darling vegan cake for desert!

Pros: In house made vegan cheese and vegan meat , Decor is beautiful , Usually no wait

Cons: It’s expensive for what you get , Make sure you don’t go on trivia night , Sometimes they have closed events, call ahead

Paulie Gee that was delicious

Made a rookie mistake and only ordered one pizza - better to get one per person. We had the In Ricotta de Vegan and the Red, White, and Greenpeace. Both were excellent. We also had the Pie Pie my darling flavor of the month which was Funfetti. So good! Busy place on a Friday night but totally worth the wait.

Pros: Good amount of vegan options., Delicious food and good drinks.

Cons: Expensive - Pizza sized for 1 but priced for 2, No reservations

Disappointing

I went for lunch on Saturday. Apparently, they do not offer the full menu at lunch. The special vegan pizzas weren't available. All I could get were regular pizzas with vegan mozzarella substituted and/or vegan sausage. They wouldn't serve me their cashew ricotta. The pizza did have good crust. The tomato sauce was okay, but the mozzarella was disappointing. There wasn't much, and it wasn't very good, and it costs a few bucks extra. And to top it off, they had none of the Pie Pie My Darling desserts they usually have.

Pros: Good crust

Cons: Lunch menu is lacking, No Pie Pie My Darling desserts

Highly disappointed

I went to Paulie Gee’s on Saturday evening. I went in for a Togo order. I sat at the bar and didn’t get greeted or asked if I wanted a drink for 5 minutes. I then ordered and asked for a vegan pizza and vegan ice cream. The pizza was good and looked vegan. The ice cream was good as well. It’s now Sunday and my boyfriend and I have been sick all day. I believe I was served regular ice cream.

Cons: Terrible service , Order vegan and don’t get vegan

The only place I'm not offended to be served "rabbit food"

Vegan Pizza can get really boring really fast #sorrynotsorry. All-the-veggies in a kiddy pool of tomato sauce tastes good in the narrowest of circumstances, relative to the direness of the situation... and, frankly, it is a lazy solution to the growing "problem" of vegan requests. When made with intent, a vegan pizza is a sing-songy, tongue-tingling, experience that can capture top billings--in headline and price.

The Rabbit Pie ($18) at Paulie Gee's is one of the finer examples I've come across. The scorched neapolitan-style crust holds crushed Italian tomatoes, fresh garlic, wilted peppery arugula and baby spinach, with a house-made vegan fennel sausage, shaved red onions, and mulled pickle pineapples chunks, finished with a soy chili glaze. The pie is complex, the wispy greens that hold in the moisture of the umami rich tomato sauce, while the sweet pineapple and sharp onion are held at bay by the bass notes of clove and fennel. This pizza gives me hope that chefs still have the stamina to conquer the long track ahead of them in the marathon of innovation with "just vegetables."

Pros: VEGAN PIZZA, Housemade vegan sausage and ricotta, Pie Pie My Darling vegan cake for dessert

Cons: Too many pizzas to eat in one sitting

Best Vegan Pizza in Chicago!

Paulie's homemade vegan cashew ricotta cheese is amazing. His housemaid vegan fennel sausage seals the deal. An entire page of delicious, creative vegan pizzas awaits you!

On the back page of the menu are about 8 vegan pizza options. I ordered one with their homemade vegan sausage and cashew ricotta. Delicious.
