Very unimpressed / disorganized and rude - Edit
Tried to go twice during our stay in Bruges. Was very excited to try the vegan hotdog. Hours are not posted online or on the outside of the restaurant. On our second attempt we noticed a man inside and he noticed us. He opened the door and I asked him what time they opened. He replied with “Well what time is it??” When I told him it was 3:20 he said “Probably around 4” and shrugged. He spoke to me in a way that made me feel I was in the wrong for having the nerve to ask such a question.

Read moreDe vegan seitan worst was super goed qua smaak & textuur. Je kan bepaalde hotdogs veganizen én de serveerders wisten heel erg goed welke. Prijs is ook zeker super ok.
Misschien 1 tip; een bord en een mes zouden goed van pas komen. Daarnaast was het stuk brood ook enorm ;)
Maar een echte aanrader, zeker als student!
Pros: Goede seitan worst, vriendelijk en geïnformeerd personeel, mega goede sfeer

Super delicious hotdogs with a vegan “sausage” available. There are about seven Hot Dogs on the menu and four (?) can be veganised!

The place is very crowded so we had to wait quite long for the food.
For excuse we got a free bear ;)

Vegan hotdog in baguette style bread - Edit
There's one vegan hotdog on the menu, and two others were said to be veganisable (replace meat dog with vegan hotdog and leave out the cheese).

I had the Rock the Casbah, with humus, tomato, rucola and cashews (9,5€)
A big portion, with the bread and hotdog inside too big for me to be able to eat it with my hands and take a bite. So I asked for fork and knife. But as it is placed inside a basket, it's a bit unhandy to eat even with cutlery.
The vegan hotdog is a seitan sausage, which wasn't really my taste. Also too much bread in proportion.
Friendly people, a cosy old fashionned kind of place.
Appreciate that they have a vegan option, but I've had nicer vegan hotdogs.
Note: not accessible. Steps to get in and upstairs area is via very narrow and steep stairs.

Friendly staff and good food! I had the classic seitan hotdog served w/ saurkraut and mustard and it was delish! 7.00 euro plus 2.50 for a beer is also decent for Brugge centre.

Tried to give 5/5 but unable as not a full vegan/veggie restaurant. I had a vegan hotdog and my partner had a veggie hotdog, soooo good! Service was fantastic!

When every other place in Brugge seems to be selling nothing but meat and shellfish, it's nice to find a quirky relaxed place with a fab vegan hotdog. Good coffee as well, and also has a small but unusual stock of vinyl for sale.

Awesome hot dogs and cocktails!!! - Edit
SO glad we happened upon PAULA Mostaert, a quirky cafe jointly-owned by Sara and Siggy, while wandering Bruges. I had the Seitanist hot dog and a few Phallus cocktails, a delicious concoction created by Sara and it is now my new favorite drink. The atmosphere was very casual with mood lighting and an upstairs terrace. If it was possible to give 5 stars on here I would, thank you guys!!!

All hot dog options can be made vegan/vegetarian with a seitan dog. I had the hummus one and it was delicious. Good atmosphere, cute outside seating area available. Friendly waitstaff.
