Patio Pantry
Vegetarian cafeteria attached to the Loma Linda market, both owned by Loma Linda University. Mostly lacto-ovo vegetarian with some vegan items. Made-to-order sandwiches, salad bar, soups, potatoes, and main entrees, fast food, and fresh juice. Very casual, busy at lunch time. Previously located on Anderson St. Open Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:00pm.

Weird Vibe - Edit
Kind of a strange place! The menu had no descriptions of what ingredients are in all the different sandwiches they have listed and when I asked what's in the "Patio Burger" they seemed annoyed to have to answer my question. There were strange people hanging out and the people who worked there all seem to not want be there. Food was just so-so, service was terrible. Won't be going back. There are plenty of better places nearby.
Pros: 100% vegetarian, Cheap
Cons: Bad service, Low quality

Reasonable Inexpensive Variety of Veg & Vegan Menu - Edit
Everything is prepared fresh daily. Phone orders & Credit Cards accepted. Free Wi-Fi. The Patio Pantry is tucked between the Campus Store and the Loma Linda Market. Associated with Loma Linda University, this eatery offers exclusively vegetarian items including sandwiches, burgers, and entrees with meat substitutes. They have a salad bar and an array of juices and drinks. Although the food is better than average, the service can be slow especially during lunch. Still, it doesn't keep the students and medical professionals from getting their Stripple sandwich fix. Relatively inexpensive and a good choice if you want to eat healthy in the Inland Empire. Their daily hot food specials are usually home runs! BI two thumbs up for: burrito supreme, haystacks, avocado sandwich, veggie burger, veggie meatball sub, salad bar!! The place does get very busy from 11-130pm from the hospital staff and the university students but well worth the wait!
Pros: Daily Specials, Phone Orders, Inexpensive
Cons: Busy During Lunch

Veg cafeteria style fast food - Edit
I had read about this place on happycow, and here's my Patio Pantry review.
We were on our way to Joshua Tree and passed through Loma Linda for a quick stop.
The Patio Pantry is connected to the Loma Linda Market. You could just walk from the cafeteria over to the market without existing the area. It was very busy when we went at lunchtime. Most of the customers seemed to Loma Linda students and staff though there were also a few that seemed to be locals who eat and shop here.
While the food is all vegetarian, much of it seemed to have contained either dairy or egg. The selections on the menu were vegetarian versions of typical American cafeteria fast food - vege burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, etc. There is a small salad bar to one side with several items. But overall, the food did not appeal to us at that time, so we walked over to the market and bought some snacks for the road.

Limited Vegan Selection, but Affordable - Edit
The vegan items aren't marked as such and the people preparing the food aren't versed in vegan options, but they will ask other staff for you. I was told the black beans and brown rice burrito on a whole wheat tortilla ($3) was vegan, so I got that. I was happily surprised that for the price it came with veggies. It was tasty and I'd definitely get it again. They also had a tofu sandwich, avocado sandwich, and hummus sandwich, which may be vegan. (It closes early on Friday and is closed on the weekends.)
Pros: tasty, affordable
Cons: limited vegan selection, staff is iffy about vegan options

Stopped in for breakfast - Edit
I knew about the market and had been meaning to try their lunch but I ended up in the area right when they opened for breakfast. It is traditional but with vegan options. I had pancakes, veg sausage, sweet rice, and a waffle. Everything was great for typical American food! The lunch menu promised chow mien but otherwise traditional also.
