This place is famous for Pasteis de Belem which are not vegan. Honestly, they could only sell Pasteis de Belem and nothing else since there’s always a cue to get them. So I appreciate that they make the effort to have one vegan option. Don’t count on it though. I went at 6pm in July and they had run out of the vegan option. I went again on October at the same time and they had a palmier. It was okay, nothing mind blowing. I would recommend this place if you go with non-vegan people that really want to try Pasteis de Belem so you can have the chance to eat something.

Nothing vegan at all which is a huge shame as the pastel de natas would sell well like other places that offer them. Disappointing.

When I went there there was literally no food option for vegans. It seems that now they have one or two but definitely not a pastel de belem which is a pity because it's their specialty. On top, there's always a huge line of mainly tourists...

Came with non-vegans so was good that I could still eat and not just sit there; albeit with very few options. I had the savoury empada vegetariana de tempeh. Quite small - basically bits of tempeh and veg like carrot mushed up and seasoned very mildly; there was no black pepper or spice at all. This was good for me; but I think others would find it too plain and not flavoursome enough. The dough was a little dry and dense too. However at €2.05, as I said; it does the job if you’re coming with other people who want to pasteis de nata.

I was very surprised to learn that this place has vegan options. They have this veggie and tempeh empanada and a palmier (made with vegetable margarine)r. Of course there is bread too but I don't consider that as "vegan option". The table service is amazing as well.

I'm not sure where you got your information from, but according to the menu (and the server), there are no vegan pastries. The online menu shows lactose-free options and the palmier isn't one of them.
