Ok but missing the factor that would have me returning

I read Millie-Bob’s review before deciding to try for myself and see if any of those other dishes suggested would turn out better
I chose pizza. The veggie/vegan menu says they’ll just drop the cheese. Actually they came back and said would I like vegan cheese, which was very welcome and I said I’d love some.
The pizza that came had loads of different veggies on it, the vegan cheese they used was good.
A good size. Tasted good.
But, personally I wouldn’t rush back. In an Italian restaurant you’d expect the pizza nowadays to be stone baked. Maybe even wood fired. But it was all a bit bland.
Not dissimilar to the meal Millie-Bob had I’m afraid
Ok if you were tagging along as a vegan. Not a vegan destination though I’m afraid
At the moment, at least.

Pros: Vegetarian and vegan menu, Brought bread, with balsamic and oils , Nice, friendly & attentive staff

Cons: Vegan elements are a veggie menu with omissions, Only one dessert. Can’t offer vegan ice cream?!, No wow factor that makes you want to return

Few vegan options

This is a restaurant I have visited for years with my family. I went recently, first time as a vegan. They have a vegan and vegetarian menu which isn’t on the website. You do need to ask for this when visiting the restaurant. I ordered the asparagus risotto, which usually contains goat cheese but they removed this to make the dish vegan friendly. I was really looking forward to this, but the risotto just tasted of vegetable stock, which was so disappointing. There were a couple of vg pizza options which may be better. Only 1 vegan dessert as well - lemon sorbet. I would definitely go back and try a pizza next time but I was so disappointed with the risotto.

Pros: Separate vegan and vegetarian menu

Cons: Could do with more options
