A great social space, warm and welcoming, we stumbled upon it spontaneously, really enjoyed our curries and focaccia!

Comforting delicious food - Edit
Parveen's is located inside a working space and unfortunately only opens during weekdays (although they do some evening events). It's a bit out of the way but absolutely worth a visit. We shared a slice of focaccia which was as soft as a pillow and a bowl of daal each. It is one of my favourite dishes and that was easily the best I've ever had. The walnut cake was delicious too. Food is simple but imaginative and beautifully presented. I am not surprised Rick Stein featured Parveen's on his programme! It is a great addition to Glasgow's vegan scene - what a great find.

Great find - Edit
Not the most convenient location, near the motorway fly over, this is a canteen space within Civic House. Small menu of 3 mains, some smaller bites, cakes and kulfi.
Read moreI had the daal, rice and apple chutney followed by mango & pistachio kulfi. £9.
The food was lovely, and I will definitely return to try more of the menu. Communal seating on benches was fine- the place was busy but seats to be had. Good range of things to read too, if you are in for a coffee (and cake).
Pros: Very good food, Cheap, Cool

Tasty and affordable - Edit
I love places with limited options such as this one (I'm terrible at making choices when there's too many options!). They usually have a simple main and a more elaborate main. The more elaborate main I had today (I forget the name but it had cabbage and bulgur) absolutely blew my mind, it was so flavourful. Their zaatar roll was so good as well. The menu changes every day, so you can always try something different every time you go.
Read moreThe atmosphere was very pleasant there, they have long table with benches, and an open kitchen, which makes the place feel very convivial.
We had tahini cookies for dessert, which I definitely recommend if they have them when you visit.
Pros: Delicious food, Affordable, Rolling menu

Amazing food - Edit
Went to this place for lunch. Only one main meal choice but it was amazing. Really fresh and fragrant curry. It was really filling and felt healthy. Coffee also really good. This place is really tucked away. Think it mainly services the co-working space above it

Loved it - Edit
First visit, loved it.
Read moreWhatever is on the menu, that's what you're getting. By that I mean it's a select limited menu (changes frequently I believe). The food was fantastic though, beautifully done.
Had the main, a side main, let out a belt hole for dessert (all complimenting each other perfectly) and then even got cookies to take home.
I'd rate the food amongst the best I've had (I'm going to have to start marking other places down).
Nice atmosphere, nice folk.
Just a short stroll from Sauchiehall St or Cowcaddens.
Can't wait to go back.

Good value, tasty, fresh - Edit
Dhal with in season wild garlic. A savoury desi version of a cinnamon bun. Close enough to city center

Great lunch - Edit
A one pot limited menu of a curry with a Sid elf cheeey bread. I believe the menu changes daily and is great value. A coupe of sweet treats also available
