Stayed the night in Evansville and the next morning a friend hit up Donut Bank just down the street. I was suddenly hungry for donuts. Saw Parlor listed here just a few blocks away. Joy! No.
Staff explained poorly that there is a vegan and gluten free donut. Ugh I love my gluten. And that they can put any glaze on it. She sad they were all vegan. Umm the maple with bacon on it? Yep. The Reece’s cup? Yep. Obviously they don’t know what vegan is. I got three, opting of a cinnamon a vanilla and a French toast glaze. $13.75. Off she goes to ice them.
And they tasted like sawdust. Each a barely baked torus that couldn’t support its own weight without crumbling. Icings/glazes were fine but hard to mess sugar water up and lord knows what was in there. I took a bite of each then tossed them. So sad.

Get a honeybun at the gas station instead.
