Veggie option - Edit
Being in transit can suck when you have special dietary requirements. So I was pretty happy, when I found this place through Happy Cow. The other reviews describe the location already pretty good: close to the D gates, upstairs.
The burger was surprisingly tasty. It comes by default without cheese, I added avocado for €1 though, and there was plenty on the burger. Other toppings like tomatoes, pickles and different sauces are on a condiment stand, and you can decide yourself what to take. The burger comes with a side of veggie chips. Definitely great when in transit, and you don't just wanna buy a bag of chips or somethings similar.

Veggie Burger ftw! - Edit
this is My go to spot when in transit at schiphol. Next to the Klm launch at the 2nd floor close to the D Gates and border control (when exiting the EU). They have Organic ordinary burgers but Also a Veggie Burger. Served with chips (not french Fries). They have a "pimping station" to put your own tippnings on It. I like ambience at the café and There are a few areas Around the café with nature inspired looks and sounds

Veggie food at the airport - Edit
It is a burguer inside the airport (departures 1, look for gate D, first floor). We were delighted to see that they have a veggie burguer. The menu comes with salad that we couldn't eat because of the sauce and some chips.
It's nice to find a place like this inside an airport
Pros: It's the only place we could eat
Cons: Not cheap
