FYI, honey is the only non-vegan ingredient - Edit
Cute cafe with beautiful decor and a variety of vegan breakfast and lunch options. This is not labeled as a fully vegan place because they use honey in a few of the beverages, BUT you can easily modify them to leave that out. The rest of the menu is 100% vegan! They also have yummy pastries and some cool and creative drinks like dirty masa (horchata topped off with jamaica). The food is delicious and healthy and includes a range from classic vegan blt sandwiches to Mexican potato tacos or waffles. Wish I lived closer to support this vegan business weekly. Can’t wait to come back again!

Went with my Husband and 2 year old son. Food was delicious, and great portions. Open space for eating. Very clean. Staff was friendly and informative. Everything on menu is vegan except the Boba drinks.

Vegan comfort foods - Edit
We had a vegan lunch here at possibly the oldest mall in California. Hubby had a very yummy mushroom sandwich with caramelized onions while I had a fairly good veggie sandwich. For drinks, we had a hibiscus lemonade and a chocolate horchata (meh). I eat oil-free vegan, so I asked for no vegan mayo on my sandwich. They accidentally included the mayo but caught it (after I had a bite) and remade it for me.

What a delightful spot! My partner and I came here bleary-eyed for breakfast and were so impressed. The service was great, and everything was delicious!
Read moreWe shared the Energizer smoothie (yum), an iced Horchata cold brew (addictive), the Cali Dawg breakfast sandwich (suuuuuper tasty), and the potato hash (just what we wanted). We got a cookie and a slice blueberry bread to go and didn't eat them until the next day. They were pretty good but a little stale (because we waited), so it's hard to judge accurately. Overall, we'll definitely make this a stopping spot!

So glad to have a cute spot like this with so many options in Salinas! The VBLAT and all the Calidawgs are delicious. Their vegan horchata, champurrado, and cupcakes are so good, too. Highly recommend!

Amazing Avocado BLT and had the vegan horchata to pair it. Definitely will be coming back to try the hot dogs. My non vegan friend preferred the vegan BLT to an actual one at the sandwich shop next door!

They have great pancakes, French toast and potato hash. It’s hard to find vegan breakfast places so we love this place. My only disappointment is that they are closed on Sundays which is a great day to go out to breakfast!
