Bland and not worth the stop

The vegan options were very scarce. I was excited for the fajita strips mentioned but didn’t realize the last update was in 2018. Things have changed drastically. Only vegan food options were guac, veggie burrito no cheese/sour cream and veggie fajitas no cheese/sour cream. We opted for the burrito but it was so dry. Both the guac and burrito were also ridiculously bland. Manager also didn’t seem to have an idea of what vegan was because he kept saying the queso was vegan 🙄. Our server was very sweet and kept trying to find out things for us and make things work, that was the only silver lining!

Pros: Service was excellent

Cons: Scarce vegan options, Bland food

Somewhat vegan friendly

They have a vegetarian menu section that includes “vegan, meatless fajita strips are a complete protein made with a savory blend of nutritious vegetable and grain ingredients (soy, wheat, peas, beets
and carrots) prepared and slow-cooked to have the authentic taste and texture of premium lean meat“.

If you hold the cheese and sour cream and otherwise order cautiously you can have a tasty vegan meal

Pros: Vegan protein options , Will accommodate custom preparation requests

Cons: Did not see a vegan menu option, only vegetarian

An oasis between Fargo and Bismarck

There are not many places here in Jamestown that are vegan friendly. And if they are vegan friendly, there are not many items on the menu to choose from. Paradiso, La Carretta, and Babbs are about all we've got. (There is a new Mexican restaurant downtown but I have not been there yet.) Paradiso and La Carretta are right off of 94.

We have had good service at Paradiso. You do have to ask them not to put the sauce on if you are vegan. The meal comes with either refried beans or black beans.

Pros: good food, good service

Cons: not many vegan choices
