Does the trick - Edit
Ok, so this is the deal for those who (rightfully) want to hold on to their cash: you can get a present card from them and charge it with actual money. Say, you give them 2,000, then you get to spend it however you like without being forced to use a credit card at any point. Seems like a reasonable compromise, as they won't have to handle change, and you as a customer retain a freedom that is no longer cherished in Sweden. This option will not make much sense, however, for tourists who are only temporarily in the country.
Read moreAs for the place itself, they have a wide range of products, but if you want organic and vegan then the options will be limited significantly.

vegan cheese - Edit
I found that the variety of vegan cheese they have is uncommonly wide.. some cheeses are almost identical to the dairy version, or better!

Excellent store, excellent food - Edit
I am rarely as pleasantly surprised as I was after having visited this wonderful store. Not only have they dispensed with the industrial style-cashier system and added self-serving registers (which provides for a much calmer and more pleasant environment), but their assortment is excellent.
Read moreNot only do they have a plethora of organic ready made foods, vegetables and other products (including veg-products), but the quality held was astounding, for what you can expect from ready-made food sold from a deli counter. When I visited they had a herb and truffle-marinated tofu that was fantastic.
If there are any drawbacks it's that it's far off the beaten track, and although I've heard that they've opened new venues in more central locations, I have no idea if they live up to the same standard.
Pros: Excellent ready-made vegan food, A very wide selection, Wonderful environment
Cons: Not centrally located, The signage of what isn't organic could be better

Pretentious, not vegan friendly - Edit
The restaurant has nothing for vegans (and they seem to be proud for it). They have some strange and prententious eco-profile, which make you to eat your meat with tree forks. The vegetarian dishes are okish. But it's a bit pricey, given what else you can find in Södermalm (regardless if you are vegan or vegetarian).

getting there... - Edit
It's newly opened so the few things that were unfinished are improving. I find the selection in the shop excellent. The cafe still has some things to improve, their vegan menu being the biggest issue. Hopefully already better as I'm writing this.

The best & biggest organic shop in Scandinavian! - Edit
Fantastic shop! I have visited tons of shops in Norway, Sweden & Denmark. No doubt, this is the best! It's huge, 1600 m2 (17200 ft2) It is very similar to the Wholefoods in US/UK. I have waited for a shop like this for years! At last, in June 2015 this shop opened. It is very similar to the Wholefoods in US/UK. It have almost 4000 products and about 80% is organic and a lot of the vegetables is locally grown. It have a wide range of fresh vegetables / fruits, cheese, meet and fine foods. They also offer raw delights, raw ice cream and raw & fresh juice. With a funny machine you can make your own fresh nut butter! In the second floor, they have a bakery (Saltå Kvarn), a Pizza restaurant, a café and a ice bar that make fresh ice every day! (Stikkinikkis Glas) You can also buy a wide range of nuts, seeds, grains, granola and snacks in bulk. Compare to other organic shops, this prices is very good! Highly recommended shop! Welcome to the Paradise!
