Paradigm coffee house, cafe, and live music venue became fully vegetarian since early-2016. Features a comfort food menu of vegan and veggie sandwiches, burritos, breakfast and snacks. Uses seasonal produce and serves organic coffee. Check its webpage for live performances and events calendar. Early 2017 is celebrating 1st anniversary of success and has expanded vegan options, house-marinating own locally sourced tofu and tempeh. Has created a solid veg based option for the community. Best Jackfruit Sandwich - Edit

I have always been a big fan of their TLT sandwich, but now the BBQ Jackfruit takes the cake!
Not mushy like most of the jackfruit I have had in the past, maybe it was the crunchy slaw? Either way delish!
The house baker is vegan I believe, and has a ton of skills.
Must try for sure.

Favorite Coffeeshop of all time - Edit

This cafe rocks and had been a stable for my whole vegan lifestyle. They've had vegan cookies and other baked goods for my whole 10 years and they've slowly added more and more vegan sandwiches and burritos (Tempeh, veganaise and now tofu too!). Vegan french toast Sundays! They've also slowly had less meat (now totally vegetarian!) and dairy options. Love this place so much that they get a 5 star review in violation of my "nothing better than 4 star for non-vegan places policy"! The best.

Oh. And I didn't mention the non food stuff. Paradigm is honestly the cultural hub of Sheboygan and Kate (the young women owner!) Brings loads of music and art to the city. She's also integral to the founding of the grocery coop that is now across the street but started in Paradigm's space.

Pros: baked goods, sandwiches, Matt and Sarah work here

Cons: no hardcore and punk bands (what gives?!), Damon doesn't work here anymore

A very special place - Edit

This is a very special place that I visit almost every time I'm in town. It's a great coffee shop with tons of space, good coffee and plenty of good food. They are also a venue for local and touring music AND they have a weekly (or monthly?) bicycle workshop where people can come in, fix up bikes that have been donated and take them home. They also have a great little organic food market.

Excellent Place For Vegans - Edit

Sheboygan doesn't have much going for it as far as vegan food in restaurants goes, but Paradigm more than makes up for it. They have excellent sandwiches (our favorite is the Egg Poster) and their bakery selection always has several vegan options in it. We've eaten there many times and have never been disappointed. Their bakery varies, but you'll usually find at least one vegan cookie option along with other things like cinnamon rolls, coffee cake, and biscotti. The staff is super, any dairy cheese can be replaced with Daiya, and they support local goods. They're also quite eco-friendly and have a lot of local bands play on their stage. We love it there!

Pros: Excellent Food, Awesome Staff, Decent Prices

excellent sandwiches! - Edit

Really fun coffee shop with a great relaxed vibe and awesome sandwiches!! I had the vegan egg salad made with simple soyman tofu and it was really, really good- the best I've had since I stopped eating actual eggs! The bread great and perfectly toasted. We also had the chips and black bean dip, which was also yummy, and my husband enjoyed his burrito (vegetarian not vegan). They had a few non-veg options but they were all the way down at the bottom of the menu which was kind of cool :-) I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area!

Pros: Lots of great veg sandwiches!, Relaxed atmosphere , Nice outside seating

Worth the trip - Edit

Great spot in Sheboygan where there just aren't many vegan options. The nIce thing is there is something for everyone here! Kate is so friendly and helpful. Stopped in for a snack for the road - wonderful baked goods ... indulge in the pumpkin choc chip muffins. We'll be making a point to return!

Pros: Tasty baked goods, Nice, comfortable for friends & family, Great options for all eaters

They Have Pac Man! - Edit

Cool vibe, decent food. Live music on occasion. Interesting crowd. Good service. In this area it's by far the best spot for vegan options. 5 of their entrees can be made vegan and there are some baked goods there as well. They are happy to help with what is and isn't vegan.

Oh, and they have an old school stand up Pac Man which is a 60 in 1 (with Donkey Kong) and a pinball machine.

Pros: Pac Man!, Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies sometimes

A Vegan Haven in Sheboygan - Edit

While Paradigm isn't a vegan or vegetarian place it is a great place for vegans to eat in Sheboygan. The owner and staff are very helpful and knowledgable when it comes to vegan food. The food is always terrific and usually at least half of the homemade bakery is vegan (and delicious!). The coffee house itself is a very relaxed atmosphere. It can get busy but it's so large inside that there's always room to sit somewhere. They have a lot of local musicians play on their stage and promote biking. They're huge supporters of buying local and practice what they preach. All around great place to spend your money on a delicious meal! While you're there you can also stop in at Goodside Grocery, which is a small co-op located in the same building. ETA- as of February 2014, they have added Daiya cheese as an option.

Pros: Great Food, Inexpensive, Friendly Staff

amazing! - Edit

In a rural area, it's very hard to find a veg-friendly place to eat. This is one of my favorites! Their food is local and organic and their atmosphere is great! I love the classic sandwich with feta, onions, and tomato. We also always get their seasonal salsa and chips. My husband isn't vegetarian and he loves it too. Also great drinks! (I love the Chai frappe)

Pros: Food, atmosphere, decor

Cons: i wish i could come here all the time!
