Wonderful Vegan place!! - Edit

I am so glad this little restaurant exists. In Bastia for a working holiday, this fulfilled all my hopes for a vegan restaurant. The dishes are researched and you can tell Bernard puts a lot of thought into his recipes. I had the daily special, stuffed squash with a green salad. Both were delicious, and the salad dressing was amazing! For dessert I had the manioc with caramel and was not disappointed. Very happy with my experience, will definitely go here again!

Pros: warm welcome , Dessert!

Best vegan in Corsica - Edit

Well, it's actually the only real one we found via happycow and he was not aware of the existence of happycow.

It is definitely a nice place in Bastia.

It's a great place inside, the staff are very friendly and welcoming you very happy.

The food was great and we had some nice conversations with the chef, and other people in the restaurant as well.

Very good experience!

Pros: Nice place and nice staff, Good taste and food

Cons: Parking on location not always easy

Finally, some vegan food in Corsica! - Edit

When I was in Corsica, this was the only vegan restaurant on the entire island. I was so happy I went there (it was 100km from where I was staying), after eating nothing but banana's and potato chips for 3 days...

The restaurant is cozy and the host very welcoming. If you are curious, he may tell you the secret to the dish you are eating. But be careful, you can only know one secret per visit, so choose wisely.

The menu changes often, as Bernard only uses seasonal produce. There are always vegan and gluten free dishes and they include lots of colours, raw veggies, cooked veggies, legumes and a source of protein like seitan or tofu. If you're lucky, you might get to eat a golden chocolate sphere (all vegan off course).

I would love to give Paprika 5 stars, but I can't, because they do have the option to add some kind of animal product to the dishes if you really want. I Corsica, to not offer this would be commercial suicide.

Pros: filling, complete meals, varied menu, very friendly host

delicious vegan meal - Edit

I had a tasty Asian-inspired veggie bowl plus an apple and mango mousse. The ingredients were very fresh. Friendly service.
