Lovely garden and kind staff - Edit
Wanted to love it as the lady serving us was so friendly, but the buffet food was a little too salty and much more expensive than other vegan places in Florence. The garden at the back is really nice, and the coconut cheesecake was good though, so maybe just a place for coffee and cake!

First, there’s no lunch buffet - they serve you from 5 dishes that are pre-cooked and sitting on the counter behind glass. (Not sure if it’s the same for dinner?)
Read moreSecond, the food was very low quality - there was 5 dishes available but everything mostly tastes the same since the main flavoring seems to just be salt.
Third, the food wasn’t even cooked well - the lentils in the dhal were literally crunchy.
Finally the person who served us seemed pretty grumpy - maybe she was having a bad day.
Overall not worth the trip.

Super lieber Ort mit freundlichem Personal. Das Essen gibt es im Buffetstil. Dadurch ergibt sich eine große Auswahl von Gerichten. Wir haben von jedem Gericht ein Stück genommen. Jedes einzelne war lecker. Der Garten und die Atmosphäre sind total schön.

Buffet-style (behind case) dining, very nice - Edit
PappaGioia is an interesting place where you can come and choose from various selections on offer that day. You can see the food is prepared with care and a bit of a home feel to it rather than a formal restaurant. The staff usually seem excited to see you and happy that you are there and enjoying some of their very nice vegan fare. If you're visiting Florence and you look on the map and seems this place is too far for you to walk from the center you can take a taxi. When dining in for lunch, we sometimes taxi there and then walk back.

Buffet style. You can try everything on offer, and pay by weight. While everything was delicious, the cauliflower bake and the millet were by far my favourite. I wish we'd come earlier so I could get more of them, unfortunately we arrived just before closing time...

Delicious! I had the large plate for €10 euro and tried a bit of everything including soup. I thought it wasn’t going to be enough food but I left pleasantly full! Also tried a chocolate hazlenut tart which was €3.80 but worth every cent it was amazing!

A lovely quiet stop outside the centre - Edit
My in-laws live just around the corner so this is in a perfect location for me. I enjoyed a cake and jasmine tea in the garden. The cake was really tasty and perfectly moist. All the food is homemade, I could see it being made in the kitchen while walking through. I'll definitely be coming back to try the buffet with my family.

This place is a bit far from the center (walk 20 min or take a bus) but it is worth it. It is not a fancy restaurant, but a small place with amazing values.

If you have a nice weather, the back garden is lovely.

We had a hearty veg soup plus a large buffet and dessert. All good flavours though a bit grey in colour. They have three places to eat - a garden room, garden and cafe.

I went here for lunch. You can choose two different plate-sizes (I took the bigger one for 10€), water and bread is for free. They had a choice of maybe 8 different dishes, I tried all of them and they were amazing! Really good and all self-made. The ladies working in the place were all extremely friendly, too. Dare to go to the patio, it's very nice to sit there. I would have prefered a bit more food on my plate, but to be true: it was full and I was just extremely hungry as I had had no breakfast. For dessert they have different cakes. Totally recommendable!

I was super excited to find a 100% vegan restaurant when I arrived in Florence. I purchased the big plate option for the dinner buffet which was 10 Euros (standard) The food was really tasty, and I also had a dessert (extra) which was super tasty.....BUT The portion they gave me was a bit shocking. they asked if I would like a little bit of everything and I said yes...And that is what I got.. a little bit. I asked to have a bit more and they said that was extra. I relied on the free bread to actually get full, as well as a dessert, which was worth the price as it was very tasty. Also, the person after me ordered the same plate and got wayyyy more food which was confusing... I am really not one to complain or give a negative review but it was strange how stingy the portions were. It was a shame cause other than that the food was good..

We came here for lunch and found this place really tasty. We both got the big plate and I had soup on mine. I liked that they served you one of each of the dishes (they did ask which ones you wanted) The atmosphere was nice and it was good getting a bottle of water without being charged (still water). I also had cake which was amazing. Would have returned if we had the time. Nice service too
