Simply delicious - Edit
Papio's Place truly exceeded all expectations. I couldn't get enough of their French Dip mushroom dish; the caramelized "cheese" paired with the savory sauce was a flavor explosion. And the Asada Your Way with fries? Absolutely delicious —the toppings were perfectly balanced, and the fries were crispy perfection. Plus, their special menu boasted an array of tempting options. Without a doubt, Papio's Place reigns as the number one food truck at its location!

Got a quality sandwich and refried beans and rice that did not disappoint. Friendly service and I really appreciate the efforts they go to to reduce waste and give their customers reusable cutlery and plates. Even cloth napkins!

Amazing food in a great outdoor space with many food trucks - Edit
Heard about Papios recently from someone working in another vegan restaurant who sad he goes to papios to eat regularly. Had an amazing French dip sandwich with leek au jus. Will be going back for the Asada burrito soon. Friendly service and great food.

We ate here multiple times on our trip to Maui. The chocolate macadamia mousse dessert was amazing. I always get vegan Mac and cheese when it's on the menu, often to regret it... But the Mac and trees here was very good. Also had the rolled tacos with chorizo and loved all the toppings. Last, the poppers were so cheesy and delicious and flavorful. The only thing we didn't like was the fake chicken.

Got the asada burrito it was probably the best burrito ive ever eaten! Their house made hot sauce is so good as well. The orange Julius was just like I remember too. So nice to find a fully vegan food place. The staff was really kind and I like the reusable utensils napkins etc. Wish I would have come here sooner, going back to Alaska tonight. Do not sleep on this place.

Great food from a plant based food truck. Together with food trucks from all ethnicities. An oasis of trees, birds, and nice people. I enjoyed the dip sandwich and my husband the Mac and trees.

Great service, no waste. If you take it to go you get a container to return (paid deposit). Cesar salad and the French Dip so delicious. I'll definitely be back. Live music tonight but I really dislike eating outside!

Read morePapio's Place is a cute and colorful food truck in a lively and enjoyable area. Overall, it's a nice place.
It took a long time to get our food, despite there being no line when we ordered. I love that they're zero waste, but it became a problem since by the time we got the food, we had to get going and they don't have to-go containers.
The rice and beans weren't described on the menu as having a pile of cheese on top, but this is how it arrived. We didn't have time to wait longer for a remake.
The Wild BBQ Bowl is actually a plate, but it's delicious. A lot of the time, Jackfruit has an odd texture or doesn't satisfy my craving for a "protein", but they did a fantastic job here. The BBQ flavor literally couldn't have been any better!
The Papio's Poppers were tasty, too. On the other hand, Malted Monkey Milk was very underwhelming and expensive.

We ordered the monkey slush drink and it tasted like frozen milk, for $12 I expected something much better. The fries tasted great but were greasy and salty. I won't be back unfortunately.

Whether you’re vegan, plant-based, vegetarian or simply enjoy AMAZING food, you NEED to check this place out. The food was absolutely incredible! The staff even stayed open a little after their hours, so we could order more! AND it’s zero waste! So it’s not only delicious, it’s also good for the planet! Read moreIf you visit Maui, do not miss Papio’s Place, a food truck in the South Kihei Gardens. The menu is very thoughtful and creative. Everything is vegan. There are soy-free and Gluten free options. Food tastes fresh. Plus, food on real dishes with real cutlery and cloth napkins just tastes better! I don’t know of any other food truck anywhere else that is zero waste and is putting this much care into their food. To top it all, Jonathan and Shauna are fabulous and the surroundings are lovely!

This place is incredible. 100% vegan, indulgent, flavorful and special. Absolutely worth the trip. Came back two nights in a row! Had the loaded fries, jalapeño poppers, Mac and trees, asada burrito. I will dream about the poppers and fries. Really cute set up with lots of places to sit.

This was such a pleasant and yummy surprise! Entirely vegan menu with lovely owners and delicious food. I got the Asada Your Way as a burrito and it was one of the best burritos I've ever had. It is spicy though, so as long as you like spice, you'll be good! My non-vegan family that was with us got the mac n trees and faux-ken delicious caesar joint and they loved them both as well. It's in a tiny food truck pod super close to the airport so if you're coming, leaving or staying in that area, it is a good place to grab some vegan food! Def check them out and give them some love as a new vegan food truck in the area. 💚🌱
