Read moreWe had a great lunch with Paper Plane food. The Portobello bowl was delicious, every component was tasty and well seasoned. The dessert, a lebanese mouhalabieh, was very good too.
Their menu is currently changing every week and I'll be happy to go back if I could !

This place is not vegan, they sell eggs. It should be listed as vegetarian, I made a request to HappyCow a while ago but they don't seem to care so I'm posting this as a review instead.

Read moreNice like any city, caters for the masses and by day 2 I had had enough of salad and chips. I ventured off beat from my meaty friends and found this pleasant, chilled and friendly cafe, a pocket of delicious calm. Thank you I will be back.

It’s a vegetarian restaurant. They were busy and English translation was difficult, so we didn’t ask a lot of questions. It appears the bases are vegan, and then egg additions, sauces and toppings are vegetarian.
Read moreWe ordered the soup special of the day, creamy lentil with carrots and the avocado toast, topped with tofu scramble, bacon bits and drizzled with balsamic. The soup was lacking flavor to me, one dimensional. The bowl was big and just too much of something unremarkable. Maybe a drizzle of something acidic, like lemon juice would have given it a punch. A cup would have been better. The avocado toast was good, and on the small side. Interior is charming.

This is certainly the best place we've been to in Nice. Everything was vegan, except for the possibility to order egg as a side. They have many gluten free options. We've been there twice and all we've tried was delicious! I def. recommend making a reservation if you plan on coming during pick hours, especially during the summer.

The savoury pancake had a lot of interesting flavours although the texture was quite tough. Overall we had a nice meal here! I enjoyed my croissant to go, too, when I had it at the beach later.

Das, was ich gegessen habe, war aber lecker und liebevoll zubereitet. Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist uns das Croissant – so gut, dass meine Begleitung sich gleich noch ein zweites bestellt hat.
Die beiden Damen im Service waren ausgesprochen herzlich, aufmerksam und haben sich sehr bemüht, dass wir uns wohlfühlen.
Insgesamt ein sympathisches Café mit veganen Optionen, schönem Ambiente und tollem Service – ich komme gerne wieder, wenn ich in Nizza bin.

I liked the BBQ pancakes when they finally arrived but it felt like I had to wait way too long at every step (first getting the menu, then taking the order, then for the food, took 40 minutes in total). The portion was also quite small considering the price… I don’t know if it was just the pancakes because people who came way later than I were getting their food way earlier (but still had to wait quite long for example to get the menu).

The staff is lovely and attentive, the food is great and the vegan meat tastes amazing. I didn’t take any pictures, but we had the pulled pork and the beef with potatoes and it was delicious. Would recommend 10/10
