We enjoyed it

Same as the previous reviewer, we went on a Friday night and this place was not packed compared to the other restaurants. We tried going to 1990 but there was a wait and we were ready to sit and relax, so we came upon papaya and gave it a go. They do have English menus, ask for one if you don't speak German. We ordered a few starters and some beers. Prices seemed fair. Everything was really tasty. The papaya and avocado wrap was huge.

Pros: English menu

Cons: Dead atmosphere

Okey food

I went here on a Saturday as it was close to where I was living, the area is filled with vegan places, all those places where filled at 19.30 on a Friday (some with cues outside them) but this place was empty.

I sat down with a menu (in german, but I can read it well enough for menus but not speak), not sure if an English menu exists, and the options felt a bit limited but I ended up with deciding to go with a papaya sallad because I really like papaya sallad (often make them myself) and also with the name they should do this well.

I was presented with a plate of sallad that was of a mid-size, not enough to be filling but not a starter either (however I figured this would be the case). The taste was quite sharp with chili although it did not fully cover the taste of the veggies and papaya so this was quite optimal.

Also as I sat there it filled up a bit with people, and they seemed to enjoy there larger dishes.

Because I am not from Berlin, I can not figure out where the price point is but I think quite average for Berlin?

Pros: Food come quickly, Tables available, Food tastes well

Cons: In an area with other fantastic vegan resturant, Service was a bit so-so, No pay with card (though in Berlin this is common)
