Very few vegan options, overpriced

It seems that Papaya Playa Project once had a special vegan menu but they no longer do. Now there are just 2 breakfast options and 2 others, and one mislabeled option (as of July 2023, the menu marks the fruit bowl as being vegan but when we enquired we learned that the yogurt is made from cow’s milk). They can make a veganized avocado toast on request, which is pretty good but extremely overpriced for what you get.

Also, the soap in the bathrooms is made with honey.

The setting is pleasant and breezy and the service is warm and helpful, but you have so many better options in Tulum.

Pricey but delicious vegan

We had a really nice vegan lunch on the beach. Avocado vegan tacos, babaganoush, fresh bread, french fries, vegan brownie all served to us on the beach. Would be 5 stars if it was made slightly cheaper.

Pros: 3/4 vegan options as well as desert, Amazing beach and service

Cons: Pricey
