Best Sandwich EVER!

As a local i can recommend it 100%. Everyone loves it. You can choose between vegan/vegetarian/meat version. The owner is super friendly. You can only pay in cash. Sometimes it's very crowded.

Pros: Super friendly, Delicious

best sandwiches in town

They do offer meat and cheese for your sandwich and if you order it vegan you just get the tofu and veggies. However, Hassan’s sandwiches taste so good that there is no need to even substitute any of it. The staff is also very friendly

The reason I moved to Winterthur

Hassan's sandwiches are the best in town and very well priced

Pros: Best vegetarian sandwich in town!, Cheese and meat is optional, Only 10 CHF

Cons: At peak hours can have long queues

Like subway but waaaay better

The small store offers sandwiches in a subway-style: you can chose the ingredients you want by yourself. They offer tofu, grilled vegetables, olives, pesto, humus, tomatoes,.. The price of a sandwich (they are quite big) is always CHF 10.- no matter what ingredients you choose.
Staff and owner are very friendly and always up for a little talk. There are a few places to sit inside or you eat your sandwich at one of the nearby parks.

Pros: Nice price for good quality, Very friendly stuff

Cons: Sometimes lots of people

Nothing special

I wanted to try this place after a working colleague recommended it but to I am a little disappointed. I have to admit that it is very hard to find options for eating out in Switzerland compared to other countries where I lived, so I am trying to set my standard a bit lower. Unfortunately the vegan sandwich was too bland and boring for my taste, so was the vegetarian version which my brother tried. A big plus is that the owner is very friendly and well informed about veganism, even though they also serve meat.
