The tofu scramble was delicious and the view was amazing. When in Kona, check out Papa Kona.

Not many vegan choices - Edit
I was so excited to see that there were so many options. I went in for brunch and there was one option, tofu scrambler. I wasn't impressed. The potatoes were cold and very oily. The scrambler was okay. I'll add a copy of their new menu.

Island 🐓 Salad - sub Tofu - Edit
This salad with tofu rather than chicken was tasty and filling. Dressing today was not miso ginger ( that would have been great ). It was creamy mango and contained eggs so ask for oil vinegar or bring your own.

Beautiful views & decent food - Edit
For brunch they had a vegan scramble and it was actually really good. We ordered a side of tofu, fries, and fruit for our little one. They also said they were able to make one of the burgers with a Beyond burger patty.

Waterfront casual dining - Edit
Lovely waterfront seating with very friendly waitstaff. Nice drink selection. The tofu poke bowl was great, and my partner liked it better than his conventional fish poke bowl!

Best vegan offerings on the water - Edit
There are vegan restaurants in Kona, but only 3 restaurants have veg options while seated on the ocean. You can feel the mist! This is a casual place, but the cost of the menu items reflects the amazing location (which is why I gave them 4 stars).
Read morePapa Kona has an updated menu for Brunch and Dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the Pineapple Teriyaki Beyond Burger ... they allow you to swap a Beyond burger for any burger option, but the Pineapple was the easiest because there are no modifications besides the patty swap.
We also enjoyed the Saffron Risotto.
Will go back again with omnivores.
Pros: Great location on the water, Casual Bar atmosphere
