Serves meat, vegan options available. Fast food pizzeria chain from the US operating outlets across the UK. Offers the following vegan pizzas: stuffed crust, jackfruit, sausage & pepperoni, and a few others using vegan cheese. The vegan sides are cauli wings, sheese potato tots, 'chicken' bites, and sheese & marmite scrolls. The vegan sauces are barbecue, hot buffalo, pizza sauce, special garlic, sweet chili, and most recently garlic & herb. NOTE: Most UK locations are primarily take-away and delivery. Good lazy option - Edit

I only ever had a dairy Papa John's once in my life and didn't really like it much because it seemed kind of sweet, but since the launch of the vegan cheese option I've had it a few times and really enjoy it and so far the Folkestone branch has not messed up any of my orders. The cheeze doesn't stick to the roof of my mouth like some vegan cheeses do and the topping options are good and being added to all the time - jackfruit pepperoni is a recent addition. If you order via the app you can add and remove individual toppings easily and often get access to exclusive offers too - it makes it a bit too easy to order...! The Marmite cheeze scrolls are yummy, it feels like they have made an effort to give vegans options and allow us to make the most of those meal deals, and they even sell vegan Ben & Jerry's ice cream that's usually cheaper than the supermarket. It's nice to see a mainstream chain do vegan options properly. Of course, there are some lovely independent local pizza restaurants with good vegan options (Luben, Roka) so we're pretty lucky when it comes to vegan pizzas in Folkestone.

Note that the vegan pizzas don't come with the special garlic dip (cross contamination issue I believe) but they often put the tomato dip in, and you can add a special garlic dip for about 40p if you want.

Don’t tell my thighs! - Edit

Sooo thankful they finally have vegan options! Unlike other pizza chains, they have really embraced the vegan movement and I am forever thankful (if no one sees there’s no calories.. right?)
