I have tried many vegan moquecas while in Bonito, so when I went to Restaurante Pantanal I was hoping to try something else. They have a vegan/vegetarian section on their menu, but unfortunately the two main dishes with eggplant have cheese, so there are only two vegan options. They were out of the heart of palm dish so I had no choice but to order moqueca again. It was not the best I've tried there, pretty average, so I would recommend other places if you want to try a vegan moqueca. It was not bad, but nothing special, and it was not the cheapest one. I was expecting more for the price. Very good caipirinhas though!
