We went in search of vegan sweet treats and they did have a vegan banana bread muffin. Unfortunately they have changed what chocolate they use so the brownie is no longer vegan as of a few months ago.
Read moreWe got two banana bread muffins and they were good but not great a lil dry and not overly generous for $3.70. They did offer vegan breads but we did not try. A real shame that they seem to be reducing their vegan offering!

A little pricey (as is everything in Bocas del Toro) but an excellent finding.
Read moreThe poppyseed lemon cake is amazing, and the GF options were also delicious. The banana bread is very fulfilling too.
I had the focaccia as well, on the go for a day trip, crunchy and not oily!
I wish they stay open longer but they operate mostly in the morning and close at 4 pm or earlier if they sell all goods.
