The vegan empanadas are stuffed with mixed veggies and mushrooms in a savoury gravy, super tasty! 6000 pesos each.
Read moreI think you have to be lucky with the availability of the vegan ones, we went twice. Our first visit was great timing as they’d just pulled a tray of fresh, piping hot empanadas out of the oven. The second time they only had two vegan ones left.
The two girls that work here were absolute rays of sunshine, they were so sweet and friendly.

Small stand we walked by often, though I’m glad we finally stopped to try their stuff. Great for a quick, cheap snack. We paid 4K for a veggie empanada. It was tasty, but cold. I wish they could heat them up before serving. Maybe great to take home or heat up in your place of accommodation.
