Excellent vegan options, clearly marked - Edit
Wow, we had a super meal at this place. We picked two things on the menu, marked vegan, to try. When we told them that we were vegan and interested in trying local food, they also suggested another dish on the menu (marked vegetarian) and offered to make it vegan. So, we tried three vegan dishes, which were all fresh and excellent.

Bruschetta while exploring Matera - Edit
Fashionable spot with impressive interior located at an ideal location for having lunch/dinner while exploring the Sassi, rock churches or Museum of Contemporary Sculpture (highly recommend!) A fair few vegan options. Bruschetta for €5 is better value than many places in the area - although the 22% service charge adds a considerable hidden cost. The bruschetta wasn’t seasoned as well as I would have liked.

Nella via principale del Caveoso di Matera ho provato questo ristorante con tante opzioni Vegan, tra bruschette e zuppe di legumi la scelta c’è. Personale gentile e anche buon vino, lo consiglio.

Piatti vegani della tradizione - Edit
Il locale è molto carino, ben inserito nel contesto di Matera. Sono stata attratta da questo ristorante per le etichette sui piatti vegetariani o vegani, solo in un secondo momento ho realizzato che quasi la totalità del menu era veg. Qui è possibile assaggiare alcuni piatti della tradizione locale che sono originariamente veg, il protagonista del menu è sicuramente il pane materano. Nonostante si tratti di piatti molto semplici sono davvero buoni. Consiglio!
