Outstanding vegan Cafe in KK - Edit
It surprised us that KK had a vegan cafe with a Westernized menu. The food was good, however a bit pricey.
Read moreAlso the menu was quite small. Mainly just a burger (which was delish) and some nourish bowls (lovely toppings, but also a lot of brown rice). It is lovely to eat here for once, but not twice due to the small menu and the higher price than local food.
A dish with brown rice and veg will be at the local veg places maybe around 3 times cheaper.
Pros: Only vegan Cafe in KK with proper western options., Staff is super lovely and friendly.
Cons: No options for vegetarians if you really crave for, egg or dairy or so. , I was missing some smoothies or juices on the menu

A vegan oasis - Edit
This place ranks as a haven for those seeking 100% vegan cuisine.
Read moreThe staff are fully aware of how far vegan ethics extend.
Though Kota Kinabalu does offer many vegetarian options, this is to date the only fully vegan restaurant in town.
We tried the tempeh burger and mushroom pizza. The burger was one of the best we've ever had, the pizza was very innovative.
I wouldn't consider their prices to be extortionate, simply because they are offering something unique to the area and I personally am more than happy to pay for that.
The bowls, including a build your own option, looked delicious. As for the desserts, we'll have to return to sample them, as they had just had a mad rush before lunch and had subsequently sold out.
Pros: Original, Ethical, Varied

❤️ - Edit
Little cafe in a warehouse. Totally vegan, nice food choices & cakes. Delicious flavoured water. Nasi lemak was lovely & healthier than usual with more veg 👍🏼 Portion size was just right for me, but if you have a big appetite you may want to order more (lucky you). Catch a grab or walk there (it’s not far!) Staff friendly & helpful. Not overpriced. Also sells soy milk & vegan mayo.

Awesome cake in an all vegan cafe just outside of Kota Kinabalu. Must visit while you are in town as it's the only 100% vegan place I've found in Borneo so far😄

Amazing vegan cafe - Edit
Should be listed as Vegan and not Other as they serve main meals now as well, almost missed this place as assumed it was just a store! Really nice place a little out of town but well worth the grab there (ours cost 12 RM). Varied menu with lots of western and a few Malay and other Asian dishes such as Nasi Lemak. We had a pizza, nasi lemak, chocolate and banana smoothies, a burger and some cake. All was delicious but the nasi lemak, burger and cake stood out in particular. The nasi lemak was so flavourful but quite spicy so be careful if you’re not keen on spice! Reasonably priced, around 13 - 22 for mains. We will be back for sure!

Vegan Cafe with an AWESOME Mission! - Edit
This cozy cafe serves all vegan foods and drinks including delicious desserts! We went there two days straight for dinner when we were in Kota Kinabalu (it was quite challenging finding vegan food there!) and our tummies were happy!
Read moreWe really like their mission in making this planet a better place using only fresh ingredients while protecting and advocating for the animals and our Mother Earth!
We had pepper burger and pizza on the first night then Cesar salad and Mac & cheese. You can tell they are wholesome and healthy with great taste. But the star of the dish is actually the Matcha cake!!! Wow to die for! We devoured within minutes!
The staff were extremely friendly. I was eager to taste the Kimchi and willing to pay for it but did not want to get the whole dish. The staff gave me a big generous portion to taste! Best kimchi ever! Spicy and flavorful.
Thank you for being the first vegan cafe in KK!
Pros: Great missions for all beings!, Tasty and clean food!, Awesome ambiance and friendly staff!
Cons: Just a little distant from town but easy with Grab

VEGAN kk! Good mission and decent food. Matcha cake! - Edit
ALL VEGAN! Nice atmosphere a bit out of the downtown. We had nice chocolate paradise shake, lovely pepper burger and rich pizza. Left us satisfied with some western style food but they also have Malay dishes. We love their vision for the planet. They also run a wood shop and furniture making place at same locale. The only all vegan in Borneo we found. Worth the GRAB out there. Ate here another night and had yummy Caesar, mac n cheese and the best matcha cake ever. Moist and intense. Loved kimchi too!

Authentic and wholesome vegan food cafe runs by passionate team.
Read moreWe make our own spaghetti sauce, soup, burger patty, sausage, cakes and salad dressing from scratch using fresh and honest ingredients, though foods only has limited servings to ensure quality and freshness.
Some menu highlights are cashew carbonara, sweet potato macaroni, mushroom soup, tempeh mushroom burger, cold-pressed juice and soy-based coffee.
We truly care for the welfare of animals, thus they serve no honey, dairy and egg or any animal-by product. They also avoid palm oil and refined sugar.
Come and enjoy our food in cozy environment. We play soft piano music and our place is very instagrammable. Best place for close friends gathering or to treat yourself a good meal.
