DO NOT TRUST LABELS

Their labelling system was so inaccurate and even after I had corrected them and sent the staff into a frenzy of what I can only describe as a disturbed ants nest searching for errors on their labelling I still found errors. We entered letting the know we had 2 vegans in the party, and the very kind and welcoming waitress showed us their labelling system, demonstrating it on their cheese pizza, which was labelled vegan. I was super excited that they’d do a vegan pizza at a buffet place like this and double checked with her that the cheese would definitely be vegan. She said yes, and we continued to our table. After ordering drinks I rushed up to the pizzas and went to get a slice, before realising that although the label had vegan (vegetarian was a separate option) marked down, it also had that it contained milk. I notified the manager and then found 15 more incorrect labels (photographed them all) and set off the pandemonium of their hunt for the incorrect labels. The worst discovery was that after I had had a helping of Tandoori Potatoes that were labelled vegan and didn’t have milk marked down, the manager had changed the allergen card after their hunt and added not only Milk but mustard too as an allergen with a black marker, showing a complete lack of care in the allergen labelling process and had coloured in the vegan marker.

After all this ridiculousness you would have thought we would have got a refund on at least the two vegan meals, however all we were offered was a round of drinks, which for a table that doesn’t drink alcohol was a round of cokes. No vegan dessert options and severely limited options after the label cull.

Busy pan asian buffet. Well labled vegan options

Busy and, although we'd booked, we still seemed to need to just queue with everyone else. Decent number of vegan options (see pics) with everything well labled.

Pros: Relaxed

Cons: A bit chaotic
