Delicious pancakes and kids friendly. - Edit
I tried the veggies pancakes, which were great, and then a super delicious apple one. Make sure you ask for the special vegan menu. The staff is well trained in veganism and can help you out. I wish they would have more options and update the vegan ingredients.

Great pancakes! - Edit
Really enjoyed my pancakes. I came on two occasions - the first time I had the savoury pancake which was delicious. The second time I had the sweet pancake which was also very nice. I preferred the savoury though. There could be more vegan options but this hit my craving for pancakes. Make sure you have a coin on your pancake as that’s how they show you it’s vegan.

The dutch pancakes can be veganized, but the american pancakes can't. Chocolate sauce also isn't vegan. The staff was very nice and helpful in finding a vegan option. We had a savoury pancake with pesto, mushrooms and spinach and a sweet one with maplesyrup, almonds and banana.

Good quality, friendly staff, good coffee, close to central train station, peaceful 🥞 Not really vegan, they only got dutch (not american) pancakes veganized, yet no whipped vegan cream, no vegan cheese, no actual vegan items except banana, almonds, veggies etc. They also serve non-vegan milk & stroopwaffles every single time together w/ the coffee even if you really clearly order vegan 😅

Very homey and a great space to take the family. They have a separate gluten-free menu and obviously marked vegan toppings. There aren’t that many, other than veggies and such, but it’s really good to have an option when eating out with others

The pancakes were amazing. There was a seperate vegan/allergy menu and the pancakes came out with a token on them to show that they were vegan, which was great. The staff were very friendly and the location was great.

Great Dutch pancakes that can be made vegan. We queued for about 15 minutes to get in but there are a few other locations in central Amsterdam which might be less busy during brunch time. Great coffee with Oatly.

Dutch Flat Pancakes for Tourists! - Edit
This restaurant is a popular tourist hotspot giving tourists a souvenir keychain when they eat there. It always seems packed most likely due to its location across the street from the central train station with a big sign that reads "Pancakes" in English. They offer a vegan menu but then state on it that several dishes cannot be made vegan which leaves you with a fruit topping or a build-your-own savory dish. What we had was okay (oily) but preferred other pancake shops in Amsterdam.

I asked for the vegan menu and got a list of things you can have with a tick next to the vegan option. I had the banana, almonds and chocolate sauce. The Dutch pancakes can be made vegan and you can have whatever vegan item you want including strawberries, maple syrup, choalate sauce, lemon and sugar and much more. I spoke to the waiter about the chocolate sauce. It's amazing and dairy and gluten free and they use it for all their pancakes so even the non-vegan pancakes get the vegan choc sauce and it's amazing!

Ask for the special vegan menu. Really specify that you want a vegan pancake. If there is not a red coin on your pancake then it is not vegan so watch out!! They gave me a normal one first so double check!! Really crowded and noisy. Vegan pancake was fine.

I had an amazing pancake here today. I went for the traditional lemon and sugar which was €7.50. The choice wasn’t major but there was a ‘make your own section’. The queue time was about 10-20 minutes at peak time. The atmosphere here was so lovely, it’s a must!

Great pancakes but busy and a bit pricey - Edit
I was very pleasantly surprised. We shared a savoury then a sweet pancake and both were excellent. Vegan menu isn't huge but has a reasonable amount of choice. Prices do reflect that it's prime tourist area. Nice place to sit in but it I still busy. We were lucky and arrived when there was no queue but by the time we left it looked like there was a 20min wait to get in but it would have been worth that.

There was a line at the door, the prices are high, the vegan options are limited, and the service was a little inefficient. And yet, for all that, the pancakes were good enough to make it more than worthwhile. I will be back whenever I next visit Amsterdam.

My boyfriend and I were impressed with the pancakes we had! We each had a sweet pancake (banana and maple syrup) and shared a veggie savoury pancake. All was delicious and very filling, would definitely recommend here to try some Dutch pancakes for brunch. Specify that you are vegan and they will give you the vegan menu, that has one savoury option and a few options for sweet toppings. You may be waiting a little in line but for good reason, and we tasted why this place was so popular. We left rubbing our full bellies that’s for sure!!
