Serves meat, vegan options available. Italian style restaurant that offers two types of vegan cheese and has labeled vegan menu items. Reported closed March 2024.
We were very happy to discover that they had brick oven pizza and we could choose between Daiya or Miyoko's mozzarella "cheese". Such a treat! (Miyoko's hands down!) It was an excellent pizza and very friendly service.
I found this to be a cozy little place. There are several vegan options including dessert. I had the tomato soup and the eggplant marinara with Myoko’s mozzarella cheese. It was very tasty!
Seems like adding the vegan cheese was an afterthought for this place. It isn’t very vegan friendly, and get charge $2 extra for vegan cheese and you still have to pay for all the meat and cheese you don’t get on your pizza option. It’s a nice environment with a full wine menu. It’s good if you’re going out with a group of non vegans and you want to have an option. I wouldn’t seek this place out if your vegan.
Charming pizza restaurant with brick oven pizza. Fun to watch the hardworking pizza chef! There are two vegan cheeses available for the pizza being Daiya shredded mozzarella as well as a buffalo style mozza. We tried a farmer’s veggie pizza with the soft buffalo style cheese and it was delish. I also highly recommend the tomato soup. It can be made vegan.
