Lots of variety - Edit

There are a lot of vegan pastries to choose from. I tried the donuts and though tasty, they were a bit bready and dry. I’d come back and try other things.

very good - Edit

Very good traditional Mexican bread. They have cochas, negrito, cinnamon rolls, chocolatin, croissant, and much more. Really recommend it

Pros: traditional, gluten free

Cons: not 100% vegan

Tasteless an not fresh - Edit

The bakery is not fresh, and goods are often a few day old. Quite dry, as GF often is.
*BEWARE* the coffee is NOT vegan and served with cowsmilk if you don’t say you want it vegan. A bit weird for a place that stated to be vegan.
You can get coffee to go or take a seat inside.

We were pleased to find it close to the Frida Kahlo museum as we had to wait there an hour for the rest of our tourgroup.
I still gave them 3 stars for trying. :-)

Pros: plenty of GF choice

Cons: serve cowsmilk, not fresh

gluten free gem - Edit

Randomly stumbled on Pan Gabriel on our way to Frida Khalo's house from work the Metro. 100MX for a loaf of gluten free bread and 25 for a donut. Ours were fresh, just wished there was coffee to go with!

Not the best - but at least it's an option! - Edit

Has a wide range of all vegan baked goods which are all pretty cheap. I had a chocolate donut which wasn't particularly tasty or fresh-tasting. I was also unimpressed that every single item is individually plastic-wrapped. Very wasteful. Still, it's nice to know the option is there if you're visiting Casa Azul or Coyoacan in general.

Pros: Convenient location, Wide range

Cons: Too much plastic, Not fresh
